1. World Food Day is celebrated every year around the world on 16 October in honour of the date of the founding of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations in 1945.
1945 मध्ये संयुक्त राष्ट्रांच्या अन्न व कृषी संघटनेच्या स्थापनेच्या तारखेच्या सन्मानार्थ 16 ऑक्टोबर रोजी जगभरात दरवर्षी जागतिक अन्न दिन साजरा केला जातो.

2. Air India has become the first airline in the world to use a Taxibot on an A-320 aircraft with passengers on board.
एअर इंडिया A-320 विमानात टॅक्सीबॉटचा वापर करणारी जगातील पहिली विमान कंपनी ठरली आहे.

3. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced that it has stopped the printing of Rs.2,000 currency notes. The Central Bank also revealed that not even a single Rs.2,000 note had been printed in the current financial year, FY 2019-20.
रिझर्व्ह बँक ऑफ इंडियाने (RBI) घोषणा केली आहे की त्याने दोन हजार रुपयांच्या नोटा छापणे बंद केले आहे. चालू आर्थिक वर्षात 2019-20. मध्ये एक हजार रुपयांची नोटदेखील छापली गेली नव्हती, अशी माहिती केंद्रीय बँकेनेही उघड केली.

4. GoAir received the Best Airline award by Andaman Tourism Award 2019 in its first edition for its leadership in attaining on-time performance for 12 consecutive months.

5. India ranked 102nd in 2019 on the Global Hunger Index (GHI). It had slipped from 95th rank in 2010. Seventeen countries, including Belarus, Ukraine, Turkey, Cuba, and Kuwait, shared the top rank with GHI scores.

6. Tunisia’s election commission said a preliminary count shows conservative law professor Kais Saied has won the country’s presidential election by a significant margin.

7. The public-sector giant Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has announced that it is developing an Artificial intelligence (AI)-based tool for analysis of terrorist activities. The firm aims to utilize the use of AI in the security field.
सार्वजनिक क्षेत्रातील दिग्गज कंपनी भारत इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स लिमिटेडने (बीईएल) घोषणा केली आहे की ते दहशतवादी कारवायांच्या विश्लेषणासाठी कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्ता (एआय) आधारित साधन विकसित करीत आहे. सुरक्षिततेच्या क्षेत्रात एआयचा उपयोग करणे हे या संस्थेचे उद्दीष्ट आहे.

8. Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) is to launch 14 Authorized World Skills India Training Centers (AWSITC) across nine cities in India.
कौशल्य विकास आणि उद्योजकता मंत्रालय (MSDE) भारतातील नऊ शहरांमध्ये 14 अधिकृत जागतिक कौशल्य भारत प्रशिक्षण केंद्र (AWSITC) सुरू करणार आहे.

9. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated 41st DRDO Directors Conference in New Delhi on 15 October. The Chiefs of the three forces, DRDO Chairman G Satheesh Reddy, National Security Adviser Ajit Doval was among the delegations that were present in the conference.
संरक्षणमंत्री राजनाथ सिंह यांनी 15 ऑक्टोबर रोजी नवी दिल्ली येथे 41 व्या डीआरडीओ संचालक परिषदेचे उद्घाटन केले. परिषदेस उपस्थित असलेल्या प्रतिनिधींमध्ये डीआरडीओचे अध्यक्ष जी. सतीश रेड्डी, राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा सल्लागार अजित डोभाल हे तिन्ही सेना प्रमुख होते.

10. Ministry of Shipping organized the 17th Meeting of Maritime States Development Council (MSDC) in New Delhi on 15 October. The Ministry Of Shipping announced that it is to introduce a plan to develop a National Grid for Ports based on a synergy between the Major and Minor ports in the country.
जहाज वाहतूक मंत्रालयाने 15 ऑक्टोबरला मेरीटाईम स्टेट्स डेव्हलपमेंट कौन्सिलची (MSDC) 17 वी बैठक आयोजित केली. नौकानयन मंत्रालयाने घोषित केले की, बंदरांसाठी राष्ट्रीय ग्रीड विकसित करण्याची योजना देशातील मुख्य व लघु बंदरांमधील समन्वयावर आधारित आणणार आहे.
