| 1. The Supreme Court (SC) just established fresh criteria for preventative detention in the Jaseela Shaji v. the Union of India case till 2024. | 4. Aiming to improve rural connectivity by building 62,500 km of fresh all-weather roads, the Union Cabinet has approved the Pradhan Mantri Gramme Sadak Yojana – IV (PMGSY-IV) for the period 2024-25 to 2028-29.

| 5. Adopting the Delhi Declaration, the 2nd Asia Pacific Ministerial Conference on Civil Aviation, held in India in association with the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), just came to end. The Conference fell on the day the ICAO was founded eighty years ago.
