2. In Madhya Pradesh, the Chief Minister Kamal Nath inaugurated the 7-Day International Film Festival in Shilpkala village of Khajuraho.
मध्य प्रदेशात मुख्यमंत्री कमलनाथ यांच्या हस्ते खजुराहोच्या शिल्पकला गावात-7 दिवसीय आंतरराष्ट्रीय चित्रपट महोत्सवाचे उद्घाटन झाले.

3. Lieutenant General Manoj Mukund Naravane has been appointed as the next Chief of Army Staff (CAS). He will be leading the 1.3 million-strong force. Naravane is currently serving as Vice Chief of the Army.
लेफ्टनंट जनरल मनोज मुकुंद नरवणे यांची पुढील लष्करप्रमुख (सीएएस) म्हणून नियुक्ती करण्यात आली आहे. तो 1.3 दशलक्ष-बलवान सैन्याचे नेतृत्व करणार आहे. नरवणे हे सध्या लष्करप्रमुख म्हणून कार्यरत आहेत.

6. The former Union minister and veteran BJP leader Ishwar Dayal Swami passed away on 15 December. He was 90.
माजी केंद्रीय मंत्री आणि भाजपचे दिग्गज नेते ईश्वर दयाल स्वामी यांचे 15 डिसेंबर रोजी निधन झाले. ते 90 वर्षांचे होते.

7. Anita Praveen is appointed as the additional secretary in the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), Ministry of Communications.

9. Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) on test-fired a BrahMos supersonic cruise missile off the coast of Odisha successfully on 17 December 2019.

10. India’s first Grandmaster Viswanathan Anand released his autobiography titled Mind Master. It was co-written by Susan Ninan.
