 1. India’s retail inflation, measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI) surged to 7.79% in the month of April due to rising fuel and food prices, according to the data released by the statistics ministry.
सांख्यिकी मंत्रालयाने जारी केलेल्या आकडेवारीनुसार, इंधन आणि खाद्यपदार्थांच्या वाढत्या किमतींमुळे एप्रिल महिन्यात ग्राहक किंमत निर्देशांक (CPI) द्वारे मोजली जाणारी भारताची किरकोळ महागाई 7.79% वर पोहोचली आहे.

2. The World Economic Forum (WEF) has announced that 100 new start-ups have joined its Technology Pioneers Community. The start-ups are from various sectors including healthcare, financial services, metaverse, food production etc. Out of the 100, 5 start-ups are from India.
वर्ल्ड इकॉनॉमिक फोरम (WEF) ने जाहीर केले आहे की 100 नवीन स्टार्ट-अप त्याच्या टेक्नॉलॉजी पायोनियर्स कम्युनिटीमध्ये सामील झाले आहेत. स्टार्ट-अप हे आरोग्यसेवा, वित्तीय सेवा, मेटाव्हर्स, फूड प्रोडक्शन इत्यादींसह विविध क्षेत्रातील आहेत. 100 पैकी 5 स्टार्ट-अप भारतातील आहेत.

9. Actress Deepika Padukone has become the first-ever Indian brand ambassador of luxury brand Louis Vuitton. The news was announced by the French brand. The brand unveiled the role of a 36-year-old Bollywood actress during their new handbag campaign.

10. According to Forbes, Argentine superstar earned $130 million to top annual list. Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) superstar Lionel Messi bagged $130 million to be the world’s highest-paid athlete in 2022 so far in a newly posted Forbes magazine list.
