| 1. In 2025, the Muzaffarpur district in Bihar was the best contributor to the INSPIRE Award Standard Scheme. It got more than 7,403 student submissions, which was more than most other educational centres in the country. This is a big step toward encouraging creativity in young learners in the area. | 2. India’s economy will thrive if women are fully included in the workforce. Women only make up 18% of the country’s GDP now. There are still around 196 million women who could work but aren’t. Even while more women are working (41.7%), just a small number of them have formal occupations. This difference makes it harder for India to reach its goal of being a $30 trillion economy by 2047. | 3. On September 15, 2025, the trilateral military exercise “Freedom Edge” started. The five-day manoeuvres are taking place in international waters near Jeju Island and involve South Korea, the United States, and Japan. This is the third round of these combined exercises, which have already taken place in June and November of last year. | 4. The Indian Navy’s newest Diving Support Vessel (DSV), INS Nistar, is taking part in the global Exercise Pacific Reach 2025 in Singapore. More than 40 countries work together on submarine rescue operations and maritime safety during this exercise every two years. | 5. The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has issued a lot more Quality Control Orders (QCOs) in the last three years.
