1. President Ram Nath Kovind has given assent to the change in name of the Ministry of Human Resource Development as Ministry of Education.

2. The Government of India has dispatched over 30 tonnes of technical equipment and material to Mauritius to supplement the country’s ongoing oil spill containment and salvage operations.
