1. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Phase 1 of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham in Varanasi Uttar Pradesh in the presence of over 3000 saints and dignitaries.

2. Australia and South Korea signed a 720 million dollars defense deal.

3. North and South Korea, the US, and China have agreed in principle to declare a formal end to the Korean War.

5. On December 16, 2021, Typhoon Rai hit the south-eastern part of the Philippines, bringing heavy rains and flooding causing displacement of thousands over a large area.

6. As per brokerage houses, proposal by SEBI to treat all orders emanating from application programming interface (API) as algorithmic or algo order might hamper the growth of such trading in India.

8. Russia released a draft agreement it proposed to the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) on security measures for both the sides.

9. Recently, the Competition Commission of India (CCI) fined US e-commerce giant, Amazon with Rs 200 crore. CCI has also suspended the 2019 Amazon deal with Future Coupons, a unit of Future Retail Ltd. Amazon was fined for concealing facts while obtaining approval for this deal.
अलीकडेच, भारतीय स्पर्धा आयोगाने (CCI) यूएस ई-कॉमर्स कंपनी, Amazon ला 200 कोटी रुपयांचा दंड ठोठावला. CCI ने 2019 चा Amazon करार फ्यूचर कूपन, Future Retail Ltd च्या युनिटसोबत निलंबित केला आहे. Amazon ला या डीलला मंजुरी मिळवताना तथ्य लपवल्याबद्दल दंड ठोठावण्यात आला आहे.

10. World Health Organisation (WHO) gave approval for emergency use of Covovax vaccine for Children.
वर्ल्ड हेल्थ ऑर्गनायझेशन (WHO) ने लहान मुलांसाठी Covovax लसीच्या आपत्कालीन वापरास मान्यता दिली आहे.
