1. The Cabinet approved Universities (Amendment) Bill, 2018, to set up Central University in Andhra Pradesh. Minister Prakash Javadekar tweeted that the Central University of Andhra Pradesh will start its academic session on 5th August. Also, this will result in more facilities for Andhra Pradesh in higher education.
केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडळाने आंध्रप्रदेशमधील केंद्रीय विद्यापीठाची स्थापना करण्यासाठी विद्यापीठ (संशोधन) विधेयक 2018 मंजूर केले. केंद्रीय मंत्री प्रकाश जावडेकर यांनी ट्विट केले की, आंध्र प्रदेशाच्या केंद्रीय विद्यापीठात 5 ऑगस्ट रोजी शैक्षणिक सत्र सुरू होईल. तसेच, यामुळे आंध्र प्रदेश उच्च शिक्षणासाठी अधिक सुविधा मिळतील.

2. The Airports Authority of India (AAI) is prepared to take the construction of the proposed Greenfield Airport at Bhogapuram. In the past, the Government of Andhra Pradesh had cancelled the tender called for the construction of Bhogapuram Airport. The AAI has now expressed its interest to develop the airport in the fresh bids.
भारतीय विमानतळ प्राधिकरण (एएआय) भोगापूरम येथे प्रस्तावित ग्रीनफिल्ड एअरपोर्टचे बांधकाम करण्यास तयार आहे. भूतकाळात, आंध्र प्रदेश सरकारने भोगापूरम विमानतळाच्या बांधकामासाठी बोलावलेल्या निविदा रद्द केल्या होत्या. AAI ने आता विमानतळाची नवीन बिड तयार करण्याबाबत स्वारस्य व्यक्त केले आहे.

3. The Inflation, based on wholesale prices, shot up to 5.77 percent in June.

5. Kaptan Singh Solanki took additional charge of Himachal Pradesh.
कप्तान सिंह सोलंकी यांना हिमाचल प्रदेशचे राज्यपालपद देण्यात आले आहे.

6. The nodal satellites division U.R. Rao Satellite Centre (URSC) of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has signed with three partners, two private and one government-run firm, to help it assemble 27 satellites at a quick pace over the next three years.
नोडल उपग्रह विभाग U.R. भारतीय अंतराळ संशोधन संस्था (इस्रो) चे राव उपग्रह केंद्राने (यूआरएससी) तीन भागीदार, दोन खासगी आणि एक सरकार चालविणाऱ्या फर्मशी करार केला आहे. यामुळे पुढील तीन वर्षांत 27 उपग्रह वेगाने एकत्रित करण्यात मदत होईल.

7.  RBI will issue new ₹100 notes in a smaller size than previous version and with violet colour as the base.
रिझर्व्ह बॅँकेची नवी ₹100 नोट मागील आवृत्तीच्या तुलनेत आकाराने लहान व जांभळ्या रंगाची असेल.

8. The 2 plus 2 dialogue between India and the U.S. is likely to happen in September (New Delhi).
सप्टेंबरमध्ये भारत आणि अमेरिका यांच्यातील 2+2 संवाद नवी दिल्लीत होण्याची शक्यता आहे.

9. Sun Pharmaceutical Industries has received approval from the United States Food & Drug Administration (USFDA), the U.S. health regulator, for its INFUGEM injection which is used for the treatment of cancer.
सन फार्मास्युटिकल इंडस्ट्रीजला अमेरिकेच्या फूड एंड ड्रग एडमिनिस्ट्रेशन (यू.एस.एफ.डी.ए.), यू.एस. हेल्थ रेग्युलेटरकडून इन्फ्युजेम इंजेक्शनसाठी मान्यता मिळाली आहे. याचा वापर कर्करोगाच्या उपचारासाठी केला जातो.

10. According to International Monetary Fund (IMF), India’s Gross Domestic Product Growth Rate is expected to 7.3 % in the Financial Year 2018-19.
इंटरनॅशनल मॉनेटरी फंडाच्या (आयएमएफ) मते, आर्थिक वर्ष 2018-19 मध्ये भारताचा ग्रॉस डोमेस्टिक प्रॉडक्ट ग्रोथ रेट 7.3% अपेक्षित आहे.
