1. Centre has issued a drought advisory to Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Tamil Nadu. It also asked them to use water judiciously as water storage in dams dropping to a critical level.
केंद्राने महाराष्ट्र, गुजरात, कर्नाटक, आंध्रप्रदेश, तेलंगाना आणि तमिळनाडु येथे दुष्काळ परामर्श जारी केला आहे. तसेच धरणांमधील पाण्याच्या साठवणूकीला गंभीर पातळीवर सोडण्यासाठी पाणी योग्य प्रकारे वापरण्याचीही त्यांनी मागणी केली.

2. Spanish Navy ship ‘Mendez Nunez’ with a crew of 30 officers and 135 sailors is on Mumbai visit from May 18 to 23.
30 अधिकारी व 135 नाविकांचा एक दल असलेले स्पॅनिश नेव्ही जहाज ‘मेंडेझ नुनेझ’ 18 ते 23 मे दरम्यान मुंबई भेटीवर आले आहे.

3. The Saudi government has approved for the first time a scheme that gives permanent residency to certain expatriates, allowing them to own real estate in the kingdom and reside with their families without a Saudi sponsor.
सऊदी सरकारने पहिल्यांदाच अशा प्रोजेक्टला मंजूरी दिली आहे जी काही प्रवासींना कायमस्वरुपी निवास देते आणि त्यांना राज्यातील रिअल इस्टेट मिळण्याची परवानगी देते आणि सौदी प्रायोजकाशिवाय त्यांच्या कुटुंबियांसह निवास करते.

4. Indian filmmaker, Achyutanand Dwivedi film, “Seed Mother”, won the third prize in the international section of Nespresso Talents 2019 in Cannes.

5. Jeffrey Rosen was confirmed as the United States’ latest deputy attorney general by the US Senate. He replaces Rod Rosenstein.
अमेरिकेच्या सर्वोच्च नियामक मंडळाद्वारे जेफ्री रोसेन यांना अमेरिकेच्या सर्वोच्च उपनिरीक्षक म्हणून पुष्टी देण्यात आली. त्यांनी रॉड रोसेस्टाईनची जागा घेतली.

6. Tech Mahindra and French digital content publishing firm Rakuten Aquafadas signed an MoU to collaborate on building enhanced customer experience offerings.
