1. The BRICS Ministers of Foreign Affairs meeting will be hosted by China on 19th May 2022 via video conference. Since, the invasion of Ukraine by Russia, this is the first meeting of BRICS Foreign Ministers.
19 मे 2022 रोजी चीनद्वारे व्हिडीओ कॉन्फरन्सद्वारे ब्रिक्स परराष्ट्र मंत्र्यांची बैठक आयोजित केली जाईल. रशियाने युक्रेनवर आक्रमण केल्यानंतर, ब्रिक्सच्या परराष्ट्र मंत्र्यांची ही पहिलीच बैठक आहे.

2. Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) has released a report on ‘Circular Economy in Municipal Solid and Liquid Waste.’ This report has been released at a time when cities across India are struggling to get rid of municipal waste.
गृहनिर्माण आणि शहरी व्यवहार मंत्रालयाने (MoHUA) ‘सर्क्युलर इकॉनॉमी इन म्युनिसिपल सॉलिड अँड लिक्विड वेस्ट’ या विषयावर एक अहवाल प्रसिद्ध केला आहे. हा अहवाल अशा वेळी प्रसिद्ध करण्यात आला आहे जेव्हा भारतातील शहरे महानगरपालिकेच्या कचऱ्यापासून मुक्त होण्यासाठी धडपडत आहेत.

3. On 17th May 2022, BSE Limited announced approval has been given for the appointment of SS Mundra as the company’s chairperson. Mundra was the Public Interest Director at BSE.
17 मे 2022 रोजी, BSE Limited ने SS Mundra यांची कंपनीचे अध्यक्ष म्हणून नियुक्ती करण्यास मान्यता दिल्याची घोषणा केली. मुंद्रा हे बीएसई येथे जनहित संचालक होते.

4. ‘India-Jamaica Friendship Garden’ was recently inaugurated at the Hope Royal Botanical Gardens in St. Andrew, Jamaica. This was facilitated under a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between the Indian High Commission in Jamaica and the Nature Preservation Foundation (NPF) in 2021.
‘इंडिया-जमैका फ्रेंडशिप गार्डन’चे नुकतेच सेंट अँड्र्यू, जमैका येथील होप रॉयल बोटॅनिकल गार्डनमध्ये उद्घाटन करण्यात आले. 2021 मध्ये जमैकामधील भारतीय उच्चायुक्तालय आणि नेचर प्रिझर्वेशन फाउंडेशन (NPF) यांच्यात स्वाक्षरी झालेल्या सामंजस्य करार (MOU) अंतर्गत हे सुलभ करण्यात आले.

5. The Wholesale Price Index (WPI) based inflation rate surged to 15.1 percent in the month of April due to the rise in prices of fruits, vegetables, manufacturing, milk, power, and fuel according to data that was released by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
वाणिज्य मंत्रालयाने जाहीर केलेल्या आकडेवारीनुसार फळे, भाजीपाला, उत्पादन, दूध, वीज आणि इंधनाच्या किमती वाढल्यामुळे घाऊक किंमत निर्देशांक (WPI) आधारित महागाई दर एप्रिल महिन्यात 15.1 टक्क्यांवर पोहोचला आहे.

6. New Development Bank (NDB) has become the first multilateral agency to open an office in the Gujarat International Finance Tech City (Gift).
न्यू डेव्हलपमेंट बँक (NDB) ही गुजरात इंटरनॅशनल फायनान्स टेक सिटी (गिफ्ट) मध्ये कार्यालय उघडणारी पहिली बहुपक्षीय एजन्सी बनली आहे.

7. Indian architect Balkrishna Vithaldas Doshi has been awarded the prestigious Royal Gold Medal 2022.
