1. The World Health Organization published comprehensive recommendations on the ethical governance of emerging large multi-modal AI models (LMM) increasingly used in healthcare like symptom analysis chatbots. Their rapid uncontrolled adoption makes determining proper oversight urgent.
जागतिक आरोग्य संघटनेने लक्षण विश्लेषण चॅटबॉट्स सारख्या आरोग्यसेवांमध्ये वाढत्या प्रमाणात वापरल्या जाणाऱ्या उदयोन्मुख मल्टी-मॉडल एआय मॉडेल्स (LMM) च्या नैतिक प्रशासनावर व्यापक शिफारशी प्रकाशित केल्या आहेत. त्यांचा जलद अनियंत्रित अवलंब योग्य पर्यवेक्षण निश्‍चित करणे अत्यावश्यक बनवते.

3. According to RBI’s State of the Economy report, India is poised to sustain 2023’s economic momentum in 2024. But reigning in inflation and boosting rural and consumption growth is vital for truly inclusive expansion per its latest report.

4. There have been several instances of Forest Fires in the Himalayan Region especially in Himachal and Uttarakhand this winter because of a lack of precipitation. As per the Forest Survey of India (FSI), there have been 2,050 incidents of forest fires between 16th October 2023 and 16th January 2024, but there were just 296 incidents of forest fires during the same period last year.
हिमालयीन प्रदेशात विशेषतः हिमाचल आणि उत्तराखंडमध्ये या हिवाळ्यात पर्जन्यवृष्टीच्या कमतरतेमुळे जंगलात आग लागण्याच्या अनेक घटना घडल्या आहेत. फॉरेस्ट सर्व्हे ऑफ इंडिया (FSI) नुसार, 16 ऑक्टोबर 2023 ते 16 जानेवारी 2024 या कालावधीत जंगलाला आग लागण्याच्या 2,050 घटना घडल्या आहेत, परंतु गेल्या वर्षी याच कालावधीत जंगलाला आग लागण्याच्या केवळ 296 घटना घडल्या होत्या.

5. The Government of India told the Supreme Court that Genetically Modified (GM) crops such as mustard will make quality edible oil cheaper for the common man and benefit national interest by reducing foreign dependency.

Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA) obtained from the bones and teeth of ancient Europeans who lived up to 34,000 years ago provides insight into the origin of the often-disabling neurological disease Multiple Sclerosis. The findings stemmed from research involving ancient DNA sequenced from 1,664 people from various sites across Western Europe and Asia.
