1. An estimate made by the Ministry of Defence (MoD) said that India is expecting at a three-fold jump, around Rs.35,000 crore, in its defence exports by 2024. The announcement about the estimate was made by Army Chief Gen Bipin Rawat at an event of the Indigenous Defence Equipment Exporters Association held at New Delhi.
संरक्षण मंत्रालयाने (MoD) केलेल्या एका अंदाजानुसार, 2024 पर्यंत भारत आपल्या संरक्षण निर्यातीत सुमारे 35000  कोटी रुपयांची उडी घेण्याची अपेक्षा करत आहे. लष्करप्रमुख जनरल बिपिन रावत यांनी नवी दिल्ली येथे आयोजित स्वदेशी संरक्षण उपकरणे निर्यातक संघटनेच्या कार्यक्रमात या अंदाजाविषयीची घोषणा केली.

2. India is planning to set up the biggest facial recognition system in the world. Under this plan, it is planning to build a centralized database that can be accessed by police officials from all the states across the country.
भारत जगातील सर्वात मोठ्या चेहर्यावरील मान्यता प्रणाली स्थापित करण्याच्या विचारात आहे. या योजनेंतर्गत, केंद्रीकृत डेटाबेस बनविण्याची योजना आहे ज्यामध्ये देशभरातील सर्व राज्यांतील पोलिस अधिकाऱ्यांद्वारे प्रवेश मिळू शकेल.

3. Ahmedabad city Police Commissioner Anup Kumar Singh was appointed as the Director-General of the National Security Guard (NSG) by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
अहमदाबाद शहर पोलिस आयुक्त अनुप कुमार सिंग यांची गृह सुरक्षा मंत्रालयाने राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा रक्षक (NSG)) चे महासंचालक म्हणून नियुक्ती केली.

4. India will host the 91st Interpol General Assembly in 2022 after a proposal received the overwhelming support of member countries at this year’s congregation at Santinago in Chile.
चिलीतील सॅन्टीनागो येथे या वर्षाच्या मंडळाच्या सदस्य देशांचा जबरदस्त पाठिंबा मिळाल्यानंतर 2022 मध्ये भारत 91 व्या इंटरपोल जनरल असेंब्लीचे आयोजन करेल.

5. Former IMF chief Christine Lagarde is appointed as the head of the European Central Bank (ECB). She was nominated to become the president of the European Central Bank by the European Union Council.
IMFच्या माजी प्रमुख क्रिस्टीन लगार्डे यांची युरोपियन सेंट्रल बॅंकेच्या (ECB) प्रमुखपदी नियुक्ती झाली आहे. युरोपियन युनियन कौन्सिलने तिला युरोपियन सेंट्रल बँकेच्या अध्यक्षपदी नामांकन दिले होते.

6. The 40th meetings of the International Monetary and Financial Committee (IMFC) of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group was held in Washington DC, the US. Union Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman, along with other officials, participated in the Annual Meetings Plenary session of the meeting.
आंतरराष्ट्रीय नाणेनिधी (IMF)आणि जागतिक बँक समूहाच्या आंतरराष्ट्रीय नाणे व वित्तीय समितीची (IMFC) 40वी  बैठक अमेरिकेच्या वॉशिंग्टन डीसी येथे झाली. केंद्रीय अर्थमंत्री श्रीमती. निर्मला सीतारमण यांच्यासह अन्य अधिकाऱ्यांनी  बैठकीत भाग घेतला.

7. Indian President Ram Nath Kovind is on a five days visit to the Philippines. President Kovind held talks with his Philippine counterpart Rodrigo Duterte.

10. Internationally acclaimed painter of Bangladesh Kalidas Karmakar passed away in Dhaka. He was 73.
बांगलादेशातील आंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तरावरील प्रशंसित चित्रकार कालिदास कर्माकर यांचे ढाका येथे निधन झाले. ते 73 वर्षांचे होते.
