1. Prime Minister Narendra Modi held bilateral talks with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and discussed ways to further strengthen the strategic partnership between the two countries.
पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांनी जर्मन चांसलर अँजेला मर्केल यांच्याशी द्विपक्षीय चर्चा केली आणि दोन्ही देशांमधील धोरणात्मक भागीदारी आणखी दृढ करण्याच्या मार्गांवर चर्चा केली.

2. Richest Indian Mukesh Ambani and human rights lawyer Indira Jaising have been named by Fortune magazine as the World’s Greatest Leaders of 2018.
सर्वात श्रीमंत भारतीयांमध्ये मुकेश अंबानी आणि मानवाधिकार कायद्याच्या वकील इंदिरा जयसिंगचे नाव फॉर्च्यून मॅगझिन मध्ये 2018 च्या जगातील महानतम लीडर्स यादीमध्ये समाविष्ट केले आहे.

3. First meeting of the BRICS Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors was held in Washington D.C. USA.
ब्रिक्स वित्त मंत्री आणि केंद्रीय बँक गव्हर्नर्सची प्रथम बैठक अमेरिकेची वॉशिंग्टन डीसी येथे आयोजित केली आहे.

4.  According to the World Bank’s latest Global Findex Database on the sidelines of the annual Spring meeting of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, India has 19 crore adults without a bank account despite the success of the ambitious Jan Dhan Yojana, making it the world’s second largest unbanked population after that of China.
इंटरनॅशनल मॉनेटरी फंड आणि वर्ल्ड बँकेचे वार्षिक स्प्रिंग मिटिंग वर्ल्ड बँकेचे ग्लोबल फिंडिक्स डेटाबेसनुसार जनधन योजनेच्या यशस्वीतेनंतरही भारतात 19 कोटी प्रौढ लोकांचे बँक खाते नाही.  चीन नंतर भारतात सर्वात जास्त अशी लोकसंख्या आहे ज्यांच्याकडे बँक खाते नाही.

5.  Competition Commission of India (CCI) has imposed a penalty of over 171 crore rupees on Eveready Industries India Ltd and over 42 crore rupees on Indo National Ltd (Nippo).
भारतीय स्पर्धा आयोग (सीसीआय) ने एव्हरेडी इंडस्ट्रीज लिमिटेडकडे 171 कोटी रुपये आणि इंडो नॅशनल लिमिटेड (निप्पो) वर 42 कोटी रुपये जमा दंड आकारला आहे.

6. The US Senate has confirmed President Donald Trump-nominated Representative Jim Bridenstine to lead the US space agency.
अमेरिकेच्या सिनेटने अमेरिकेतील स्पेस एजन्सीच्या नेतृत्वाखाली राष्ट्राध्यक्ष डोनाल्ड ट्रम्पचे नामांकित प्रतिनिधी जिम ब्रिडेन्सटाइन यांची पुष्टी केली आहे.

7.  International SME convention will be held in New Delhi.

8.  Gujarati language short film “Rammat- Gammat” will make its world premiere at the 64th International Short Film Festival Oberhausen in Germany.
गुजराती भाषा लघुपट  ‘रम्मत- गम्मत’चा जर्मनीच्या ऑबरहॉसनमध्ये होणाऱ्या 64 व्या आंतरराष्ट्रीय लघु चित्रपट महोत्सवात जागतिक प्रीमियर होईल.

9. Private sector lender Yes Bank received the Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) approval to open two representative offices in London and Singapore.
खासगी क्षेत्रातील ‘यस बँकेला लंडन आणि सिंगापूरमधील दोन प्रतिनिधी कार्यालये उघडण्यासाठी रिझर्व्ह बँक ऑफ इंडियाने (RBI) मंजुरी दिली.

10. Former Delhi High Court Chief Justice Rajinder Sachar died. He was 94.
दिल्ली उच्च न्यायालयाचे माजी न्यायमूर्ती राजिंदर सच्चर यांचे निधन ते 94 वर्षांचे होते.
