1. International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN), the leading wildlife conservation body, has recently released its updated its assessment on various species from the canopies of tropical forests to the ocean floor.
आंतरराष्ट्रीय संरक्षण संघटनेच्या (आययूसीएन) अग्रगण्य वन्यजीव संरक्षण संस्थेने अलीकडेच उष्णकटिबंधातील जंगलातील महासागरापासून समुद्र किनाऱ्यापर्यंत विविध प्रजातींवर त्याचे मूल्यांकन अद्ययावत केले आहे.

2. Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) has signed a major deal worth USD50 million with Indian Navy. The agreement aims to supply complementary Naval Medium Range Surface-to-air missile (MRSAM) systems to the Indian Navy and the Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders.
इस्रायल एरोस्पेस इंडस्ट्रीजने (आयएआय) भारतीय नौदलाच्या सहकार्याने 50 मिलियन अमेरिकन डॉलर्सचा मोठा करार केला आहे. भारतीय नौसेना आणि माझगाव डॉक शिपबिल्ड्सला पुरवणी नौसेना मध्यम श्रेणी सर्फेस-टू-एअर मिसाइल (MRSAM) सिस्टीम पुरविणे हा करार करण्याचा उद्देश आहे.

3. Uttarakhand State government is to host the first-ever Himalayan states’ conclave on July 28 in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand. The prime focus of the meeting will be on sustainable development.
उत्तराखंड राज्य सरकार 28 जुलै रोजी उत्तराखंडमधील मसूरी येथे हिमालयी राज्यांच्या पहिल्या अधिवेशनाचे आयोजन करणार आहे. बैठकीचा मुख्य केंद्र टिकाऊ विकासावर राहील.

4. The Rajasthan government has launched Student Police Cadet (SPC) scheme, a Police training program, for class 8 and 9 students on July 18.
राजस्थान सरकारने 18 जुलै रोजी 8 आणि 9 विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी विद्यार्थी पोलीस कॅडेट (एसपीसी) योजना, पोलिस प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम सुरू केला आहे.

5. Indian sprinter Hima Das won a gold medal in the 400-meter race with a season-best time of 52.09 seconds at Nove Mesto in the Czech Republic.
भारतीय धावपटू हिमा दास ने चेक प्रजासत्ताकच्या नोव्ह मेस्टो येथे 52.0 9 सेकंदात सीझन-सर्वोत्तम वेळेसह 400 मीटरच्या रेसमध्ये सुवर्णपदक जिंकले.

6. In Commonwealth Table Tennis Championship held in Cuttack, India made a record by winning gold in both men’s and women’s category.
कटकमध्ये झालेल्या कॉमनवेल्थ टेबल टेनिस चॅम्पियनशिपमध्ये भारताने महिला व पुरुषांच्या श्रेणीत सुवर्ण जिंकून एक विक्रम नोंदविला.

7. North Korea triumphed in the second edition of Intercontinental Cup football. They defeated Tajikistan in the final.
इंटरकॉन्टिनेंटल कप फुटबॉलच्या दुसर्या आवृत्तीमध्ये उत्तर कोरिया विजयी झाला. अंतिम फेरीत त्याने ताजिकिस्तानचा पराभव केला.

8. India has topped the championship by securing top the medals tally in the ISSF Junior World Cup.
ISSF ज्युनिअर विश्वचषक स्पर्धेत सर्वाधिक पदके मिळवून भारताने चँपियनशिपमध्ये आघाडी घेतली आहे.

9. Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju launched the All India Football Federation’s Golden Baby Leagues handbook 2019-20 on the sidelines of the Intercontinental Cup in Ahemadabad.
क्रीडामंत्री किरेन रिजीजू यांनी अहमदाबादमधील इंटरकॉन्टिनेंटल कपच्या उपस्थितीत ऑल इंडिया फुटबॉल फेडरेशन गोल्डन बेबी लीग्सची पुस्तिका 2019 -20 लॉंच केली.

10. Three-time Delhi Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Sheila Dixit passed away in New Delhi. She was 81.
नवी दिल्लीच्या तीन वेळा मुख्यमंत्री आणि काँग्रेसच्या वरिष्ठ नेता शीला दीक्षित यांचे निधन झाले. त्या  81 वर्षांच्या होत्या.
