अमूलने पश्चिम बंगालमध्ये एकात्मिक दुग्ध प्रकल्पाचे काम सुरू केले आहे, ज्यामध्ये जगातील सर्वात मोठ्या दही निर्मिती केंद्राचा समावेश असेल. हा प्रकल्प हावडा जिल्ह्यातील संक्रैल येथील ‘हावडा फूड पार्क’मध्ये स्थित असून, या प्रकल्पाची पायाभरणी कोलकाता येथील न्यू टाउनमधील ‘विश्व बांगला कन्व्हेन्शन सेंटर’ येथे करण्यात आली. |

Ethanol ATMs are proposed dispensing kiosks in India for selling ethanol in canisters for cooking use The Union Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas is working on a policy to encourage a wider use of ethanol as a mainstream cooking fuel, with a target timeline around September 2026. भारतात स्वयंपाकासाठी वापरल्या जाणाऱ्या कॅनिस्टर्समध्ये इथेनॉलची विक्री करण्यासाठी ‘इथेनॉल एटीएम’ (dispensing kiosks) सुरू करण्याचा प्रस्ताव आहे. केंद्रीय पेट्रोलियम आणि नैसर्गिक वायू मंत्रालय इथेनॉलचा स्वयंपाकाचे मुख्य इंधन म्हणून मोठ्या प्रमाणावर वापर करण्यास प्रोत्साहन देणाऱ्या धोरणावर काम करत असून, यासाठी सप्टेंबर २०२६ च्या सुमारास अंमलबजावणीचे उद्दिष्ट ठेवण्यात आले आहे. |
| 3. The National Highways Authority of India launched a digital Local Pass facility on the RajmargYatra mobile application in July 2026. The facility has been designed to allow residents living within 20 kilometres of an eligible toll plaza to purchase a monthly pass to travel through that toll plaza on an unlimited basis. भारतीय राष्ट्रीय महामार्ग प्राधिकरणाने जुलै 2026 मध्ये ‘राजमार्गयात्रा’ (RajmargYatra) या मोबाईल ॲप्लिकेशनवर ‘डिजिटल लोकल पास’ सुविधा सुरू केली. पात्र टोल नाक्याच्या 20 किलोमीटरच्या परिघात राहणाऱ्या रहिवाशांना, त्या टोल नाक्यावरून अमर्यादित फेऱ्यांसाठी मासिक पास खरेदी करता यावा, या उद्देशाने ही सुविधा तयार करण्यात आली आहे. |
| 4. Kolkata: India’s first immersive language museum Shabdalok or Museum of Word was inaugurated on July 19, 2026 at the National Library campus in Kolkata. The museum is housed in Belvedere House and under the Union Ministry of Culture. कोलकाता: 19 जुलै 2026 रोजी कोलकाता येथील नॅशनल लायब्ररीच्या आवारात भारताच्या पहिल्या ‘इमर्सिव्ह’ (अनुभव-प्रधान) भाषा संग्रहालयाचे – ‘शब्दलोक’ किंवा ‘म्युझियम ऑफ वर्ड’चे – उद्घाटन करण्यात आले. हे संग्रहालय ‘बेल्व्हेडिअर हाऊस’मध्ये स्थित असून ते केंद्रीय सांस्कृतिक मंत्रालयाच्या अखत्यारीत येते. |
| 5. The Reserve Bank of India’s concessional forex swap facility got foreign exchange inflows of over $20.7 billion or about ₹2 lakh crore by July 17, 2026. The facility was announced on 5 June, 2026 and was made operational on 8 June, 2026 to help India’s balance of payments and to encourage capital inflows. भारतीय रिझर्व्ह बँकेच्या सवलतीच्या परकीय चलन अदलाबदल (फॉरेक्स स्वॅप) सुविधेअंतर्गत 17 जुलै 2026 पर्यंत 20.7 अब्ज डॉलर्सहून अधिक (किंवा सुमारे 2 लाख कोटी रुपये) परकीय चलन प्राप्त झाले. भारताच्या ‘पेमेंट्सचा समतोल’ (बॅलन्स ऑफ पेमेंट्स) सुधारण्यास मदत करण्यासाठी आणि भांडवलाचा ओघ वाढवण्यास प्रोत्साहन देण्यासाठी ही सुविधा 5 जून 2026 रोजी जाहीर करण्यात आली होती आणि 8 जून 2026 रोजी कार्यान्वित करण्यात आली होती. |
| 6. The National Payments Corporation of India is creating an offline Unified Payments Interface feature for tap-to-pay transactions at merchant point-of-sale terminals. The system is designed to work when the customer’s mobile device and the merchant’s terminal are not connected to the internet. नॅशनल पेमेंट्स कॉर्पोरेशन ऑफ इंडिया व्यापाऱ्यांच्या पॉइंट-ऑफ-सेल टर्मिनल्सवर टॅप-टू-पे व्यवहारांसाठी एक ऑफलाइन युनिफाइड पेमेंट्स इंटरफेस सुविधा तयार करत आहे. ही प्रणाली अशा वेळी काम करण्यासाठी तयार केली आहे, जेव्हा ग्राहकाचे मोबाइल डिव्हाइस आणि व्यापाऱ्याचे टर्मिनल इंटरनेटशी जोडलेले नसतील. |
7. India has approved its first utility-scale 100 MWh Vanadium Redox Flow Battery Energy Storage System (VRFB BESS) for deployment at Khavda Solar Park in Gujarat. NTPC Renewable Energy Limited awarded the contract for the project on 20-21 July 2026, and the system is scheduled for deployment in 2027 with 10 years of operations and maintenance services. भारताने गुजरातमधील खावडा सोलर पार्कमध्ये उभारण्यासाठी देशातील पहिल्या ‘युटिलिटी-स्केल’ 100 MWh क्षमतेच्या ‘व्हॅनेडियम रेडॉक्स फ्लो बॅटरी एनर्जी स्टोरेज सिस्टम’ला (VRFB BESS) मंजुरी दिली आहे. एनटीपीसी रिन्यूएबल एनर्जी लिमिटेडने या प्रकल्पाचे कंत्राट 20-21 जुलै 2026 रोजी दिले असून, ही प्रणाली 2027 मध्ये कार्यान्वित करण्याचे नियोजित आहे; यामध्ये 10 वर्षांच्या कालावधीसाठी देखभाल व दुरुस्ती सेवांचाही समावेश असेल. |
