1. On 21st May, the UAE celebrated World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development to highlight its efforts in promoting tolerance and cultural diversity.
संयुक्त अरब अमीरातने सहिष्णुता आणि सांस्कृतिक विविधता प्रोत्साहन देण्यासाठी केलेल्या प्रयत्नांचे स्पष्टीकरण देण्यासाठी 21 मे रोजी सांस्कृतिक विविधतेसाठी संवाद आणि विकाससाठी जागतिक दिवस साजरा केला.

2. India allowed the import of refurbished mobile phones or second mobile phones only if they are certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards(BIS). Earlier, the Government of India didn’t give its assent to refurbished mobile imports with the fear of dumping and negative effect to Make In India initiative.
भारताने ब्युरो ऑफ इंडियन स्टँडर्ड (बीआयएस) द्वारा प्रमाणित केले असल्यासच नूतनीकरण केलेल्या मोबाईल फोनची किंवा दुसर्या मोबाइल फोनची आयात करण्याची परवानगी दिली.
तत्पूर्वी, भारत सरकारने पुढाकार घेण्यासाठी डंपिंग आणि नकारात्मक प्रभावाचा धोका असलेल्या मोबाईल आयातीस नवीकरणाची मंजूरी दिली नाही.

3. Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) announced to conduct seven Mega Missions for the upcoming 10 years and also prepared a roadmap for the next 30 years.

7. Every year May 21 is observed as Anti-Terrorism day in India. The day is observed in the memory of former Indian PM Mr. Rajiv Gandhi who passed away on this day.
