1. Actions that will be taken by the World Bank to mitigate the ongoing food security have been announced. The World Bank will be investing up to USD 30 billion to finance new and existing projects to mitigate the crisis.
सध्या सुरू असलेल्या अन्नसुरक्षेला कमी करण्यासाठी जागतिक बँकेकडून करण्यात येणाऱ्या कृतींची घोषणा करण्यात आली आहे. जागतिक बँक संकट कमी करण्यासाठी नवीन आणि विद्यमान प्रकल्पांना वित्तपुरवठा करण्यासाठी USD 30 अब्ज पर्यंत गुंतवणूक करणार आहे.

5. The government has made quoting of PAN or Aadhaar number mandatory if the cash deposits and withdrawals in a financial year exceeds Rs 20 lakh and in case of opening of current account or cash credit account with a bank. The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has issued a notification on May 10, 2022 for the same.

8. Rajiv Ranjan and Sitikantha Pattanaik have been named executive directors by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). Rajiv Ranjan was Adviser-in-Charge of the Monetary Policy Department and Secretary to the Monetary Policy Committee before being appointed to executive director.
