1. India observes Police Commemoration Day or National Police day on 21 October every year.
भारत दरवर्षी 21 ऑक्टोबरला पोलिस स्मारक दिन किंवा राष्ट्रीय पोलीस दिन साजरा करतो.

2. The government is to set up one lakh digital village in the country in the next few years. The announcement was made by the Union Minister of Electronics and Information Technology (MietY) Ravi Shankar Prasad at the MeitY Start-Up Summit 2019 in New Delhi.
सरकार येत्या काही वर्षांत देशात एक लाख डिजिटल खेडे स्थापित करणार आहे. केंद्रीय इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स आणि माहिती तंत्रज्ञान मंत्री (MietY) रविशंकर प्रसाद यांनी नवी दिल्लीतील MietY स्टार्ट-अप समिट 2019 मध्ये ही घोषणा केली.

3. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi unveiled the book “Bridgital Nation” and presented its first copy to Shri Ratan Tata in New Delhi.

4. Rajnish Kumar, Head of the State Bank of India (SBI), has been elected as the chairman of the banking industry lobby Indian Banks Association (IBA) for fiscal 2019-20. He will replace Sunil Mehta, who was the MD & CEO of Punjab National Bank.
स्टेट बँक ऑफ इंडियाचे (SBI) प्रमुख रजनीश कुमार यांची 2019-20 या आर्थिक वर्षासाठी बँकिंग उद्योग लॉबी इंडियन बँक असोसिएशन (IBA)चे अध्यक्ष म्हणून निवड झाली आहे. ते पंजाब नॅशनल बँकेचे एमडी आणि मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी सुनील मेहता यांची जागा घेतील.

5. Sri Lanka has been removed from the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) list of countries at risk for money laundering.
श्रीलंकेला मनी लॉन्ड्रिंगचा धोका असलेल्या देशांच्या फायनान्शियल ॲक्शन टास्क फोर्स (FATF) यादीतून काढून टाकले गेले आहे.

6. Union Minister of State for Culture and Tourism Prahlad Singh Patel inaugurated e-portal of Centre for Cultural Resources and Training and YouTube Channel, with support from Routes 2 Routes, in New Delhi on 21 October.
केंद्रीय सांस्कृतिक आणि पर्यटन राज्यमंत्री प्रह्लादसिंग पटेल यांनी 21 ऑक्टोबर रोजी नवी दिल्ली येथे सांस्कृतिक संसाधन व प्रशिक्षण केंद्र व यूट्यूब चॅनलच्या ई पोर्टलचे उद्घाटन केले.

7. The Vice President of India Shri M Venkaiah Naidu presented the Most Eminent Senior Citizen Award to Shri K. Parasaran, legal luminary, scholar and former Attorney General of India, in a function at the India International Centre in New Delhi on 20 October.
20 ऑक्टोबर रोजी नवी दिल्ली येथील इंडिया इंटरनॅशनल सेंटर येथे आयोजित कार्यक्रमात भारताचे उपराष्ट्रपती श्री. वेंकैया नायडू यांनी श्री. के. परसरन, कायदेशीर ल्युमिनरी, विद्वान आणि भारताचे माजी ॲटर्नी जनरल यांना सर्वात प्रख्यात ज्येष्ठ नागरिक पुरस्कार प्रदान केला.

8. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated ceremony of Col. Chewang Rinchen Setu Bridge in Ladakh on 21 October.

9. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Sudhaker Shukla as a Whole-Time Member (WTM) of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI).
मंत्रिमंडळाच्या नियुक्ती समितीने सुदाकर शुक्ला यांना भारतीय दिवाळखोरी व दिवाळखोरी मंडळाच्या (IBBI)  पूर्णवेळ सदस्य (WTM) म्हणून नियुक्त करण्यास मान्यता दिली आहे.

10. Indian boxers at the Asian Junior Championships, clinched a bumper tally of 21 medals, including six golds and nine silvers, to end with the best medal haul among 26 competing countries in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates.
एशियन ज्युनियर चॅम्पियनशिपमध्ये भारतीय मुष्ठियोद्धाने संयुक्त अरब अमीरातच्या फुझैराह येथे 26 स्पर्धक देशांपैकी सर्वोत्कृष्ट पदकासह सहा सुवर्ण आणि नऊ रौप्यसह 21 पदके जिंकली.
