1. Earth Day is observed every year on 22 April.
प्रत्येक वर्षी 22 एप्रिल रोजी पृथ्वी दिन साजरा केला जातो.

2. The International Energy Agency recently released the Global Energy Review report. According to the report, the Carbon Dioxide emissions in India is to be 1.4% higher than the levels recorded in 2019.
आंतरराष्ट्रीय ऊर्जा एजन्सीने नुकताच ग्लोबल एनर्जी आढावा अहवाल जाहीर केला. अहवालानुसार, भारतात कार्बन डाय ऑक्साईड उत्सर्जन हे 2019 मध्ये नोंदवलेल्या पातळीपेक्षा 1.4% जास्त असेल.

3. The World Economic Forum recently released the Global Energy Transition Index. The index was prepared in collaboration with Accenture. Key findings of the Report The ten countries that topped the index were from the Northern and Western parts of Europe.Sweden ranked first in the report followed by Norway and Denmark.
वर्ल्ड इकॉनॉमिक फोरमने नुकतीच ग्लोबल एनर्जी ट्रान्झिशन इंडेक्स जारी केला. निर्देशांक एक्सेन्चरच्या सहकार्याने तयार केला गेला. अहवालाचे मुख्य निष्कर्ष दहा निर्देशांकांपैकी अव्वल क्रमांकावर असलेले दहा देश हे युरोपच्या उत्तर व पश्चिम भागातील होते. स्वेडेन या अहवालात प्रथम स्थानावर असून त्यानंतर नॉर्वे व डेन्मार्क यांचा क्रमांक लागतो.

4. The Government of Israel has chosen Google and Amazon Web Services to provide cloud services for its military and Public Sector Units. The project is to be implemented in four phases and has been named the “Nimbus” project
इस्राईल सरकारने आपल्या सैन्य आणि सार्वजनिक क्षेत्रातील घटकांसाठी क्लाउड सेवा देण्यासाठी Google आणि Amazon वेब सर्व्हिसेसची निवड केली आहे. प्रकल्प चार टप्प्यात राबविला जाणार असून त्याला “निंबस” प्रकल्प असे नाव देण्यात आले आहे.

5. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) recently shared an image of “Cosmic Rose”. Cosmic Rose Cosmic Rose is an image captured by Hubble Space Telescope of NASA.
नासा ने अलीकडेच “कॉस्मिक गुलाब” ची प्रतिमा शेअर केली. कॉस्मिक गुलाब ही नासाच्या हबल स्पेस टेलीस्कोपने हस्तगत केलेली प्रतिमा आहे.

6. As India is struggling to battle COVID-19 crisis, a triple mutant variant strain of COVID-19 has emerged as a fresh threat. It is also called the “Bengal Variant”.

7. The Indian Government and Germany have signed a settlement for Technical Cooperation in enhancing practices to forestall plastic from entering the marine environment at a digital ceremony in New Delhi.

8. The IIT Kharagpur has successfully commercialised the healthcare product COVIRAP. What is COVIRAP? COVIRAP is a diagnostic technology to detect COVID-19 virus.

9. The Perseverance rover of Mars 2020 Mission of NASA recently converted carbon dioxide into oxygen.

10. Water Sports and Adventure Institute (WSAI) has been installed by way of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) at Tehri Dam in Uttarakhand.
