| 1. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has connected Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) with the growth of entrepreneurship in India. In June 2026, Sanjay Malhotra, Governor of the RBI, said better credit flow and formalisation were policy priorities and that MSMEs are the “entrepreneurship nursery” of India. | 4. On 22 June 2026, the United States approved a military support package for India for sustainment services related to AH-64E Apache attack helicopters and M777A2 Ultra-Light Howitzers. Australia’s first mainland case of highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 was confirmed on 20 June 2026 in a brown skua found dead in Cape Le Grand National Park near Esperance in southern Western Australia. | 6. India’s goods exports rose nearly 15 per cent in the first two-and-a-half months of 2026-27 (April, May and the first 14 days of June 2026). Ltd. and Mrs. Bectors Food Specialities Ltd. on 21 June 2026 for making misleading advertisements related to food products. The action was taken under Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and Guidelines for Prevention of Misleading Advertisements and Endorsements for Misleading Advertisements, 2022. केंद्रीय ग्राहक संरक्षण प्राधिकरणाने (CCPA) खाद्यपदार्थांबाबत दिशाभूल करणाऱ्या जाहिराती केल्याप्रकरणी 21 जून 2026 रोजी ‘स्टोरिया फूड्स अँड बेव्हरेजेस प्रायव्हेट लिमिटेड’ आणि ‘मिसेस बेक्टर्स फूड स्पेशालिटीज लिमिटेड’ या कंपन्यांवर प्रत्येकी 1 लाख रुपयांचा दंड ठोठावला. ही कारवाई ‘ग्राहक संरक्षण कायदा, 2019’ आणि ‘दिशाभूल करणाऱ्या जाहिरातींना प्रतिबंध आणि दिशाभूल करणाऱ्या जाहिरातींच्या समर्थनार्थ मार्गदर्शक तत्त्वे, 2022’ अंतर्गत करण्यात आली. |
