| 3. India has reviewed the import duty structure on low-ash metallurgical coke, an important input in steelmaking, in 2026. The Ministry of Steel has requested to withdraw anti-dumping duties on imports of low-ash metallurgical coke as domestic supply shortages and higher prices prevail in the local market. भारताने 2026 मध्ये, पोलाद निर्मितीतील एक महत्त्वाचा कच्चा माल असलेल्या ‘कमी-राखेच्या धातूशास्त्रीय कोक’ (low-ash metallurgical coke) वरील आयात शुल्क रचनेचा आढावा घेतला आहे. स्थानिक बाजारपेठेत या कोकचा पुरवठा कमी पडत असल्याने आणि त्याच्या किमती वाढल्या असल्याने, पोलाद मंत्रालयाने या कोकच्या आयातीवरील ‘अँटी-डम्पिंग शुल्क’ (anti-dumping duties) मागे घेण्याची विनंती केली आहे. |

| 6. On 16 May 2026, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) launched Operation Ragepill, leading to the dismantling of an international syndicate involved in Captagon trafficking.
