1. The Indian Space Research Organization and the European Space Agency have extended their Cooperative Agreement till 8th January 2032. The extension was formalized by an exchange of letters in Paris on 10 September 2026, at the International Space Summit.

भारतीय अंतराळ संशोधन संस्था (ISRO) आणि युरोपियन अंतराळ संस्था (ESA) यांनी त्यांच्या सहकार्य कराराची मुदत 8 जानेवारी 2032 पर्यंत वाढवली आहे. 10 सप्टेंबर 2026 रोजी पॅरिस येथे झालेल्या आंतरराष्ट्रीय अंतराळ परिषदेत पत्रांची देवाणघेवाण करून या मुदतवाढीवर अधिकृत शिक्कामोर्तब करण्यात आले.

2. The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) on 22nd September, 2026, notified the Telecom Consumer Protection (Thirteenth Amendment) Regulations, 2026. This pertains to Special Tariff Vouchers (STVs) for voice and SMS services and modifies the structure under the Telecom Consumer Protection Regulations.

भारतीय दूरसंचार नियामक प्राधिकरणाने (TRAI) 22 सप्टेंबर 2026 रोजी ‘दूरसंचार ग्राहक संरक्षण (तेरावी सुधारणा) विनियम, 2026’ अधिसूचित केले. हे विनियम व्हॉइस आणि एसएमएस सेवांसाठीच्या ‘विशेष टॅरिफ व्हाउचर’शी (STVs) संबंधित असून, ‘दूरसंचार ग्राहक संरक्षण विनियमां’मधील संबंधित रचनेत बदल करतात.

3. The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has issued an advisory on 21 September 2026 on fraudulent SIM card issuance, misuse of telecom identifiers and tampering with International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) numbers. The advisory refers to penalties under the Telecommunications Act, 2023, which provides for imprisonment up to three years and a fine up to ₹50 lakh for specified violations.

दूरसंचार विभागाने (DoT) 21 सप्टेंबर 2026 रोजी बनावट सिम कार्ड जारी करणे, दूरसंचार ओळख क्रमांकांचा (telecom identifiers) गैरवापर आणि ‘इंटरनॅशनल मोबाइल इक्विपमेंट आयडेंटिटी’ (IMEI) क्रमांकांशी छेडछाड यांबाबत एक सूचना (advisory) जारी केली आहे. या सूचनेत ‘दूरसंचार कायदा, 2023’ (Telecommunications Act, 2023) अंतर्गत असलेल्या दंडात्मक तरतुदींचा उल्लेख करण्यात आला आहे; या कायद्यानुसार, विशिष्ट उल्लंघनांसाठी तीन वर्षांपर्यंतचा कारावास आणि 50 लाख रुपयांपर्यंतच्या दंडाची तरतूद आहे.

4. The Government of India has dissolved the Digital Communications Commission (DCC), an apex inter-departmental decision making body under the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) with effect from the date of publication of a government resolution dated 19 September 2026. The commission was wound up by the Union Cabinet on 16 September 2026.

भारत सरकारने 19 सप्टेंबर 2026 रोजीच्या सरकारी ठरावाच्या प्रकाशनाच्या तारखेपासून, दूरसंचार विभागांतर्गत (DoT) निर्णय घेणारी सर्वोच्च आंतर-विभागीय संस्था असलेल्या ‘डिजिटल कम्युनिकेशन्स कमिशन’ (DCC) चे विसर्जन केले आहे. केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडळाने 16  सप्टेंबर 2026 रोजी या आयोगाचे कामकाज बंद करण्याचा निर्णय घेतला होता.

5. India’s first blue bond issue is scheduled for launch on 28 September 2026 by Sagarmala Finance Corporation, a state-owned maritime lender. The proposed issue size is ₹600 crore, with a greenshoe option of ₹500 crore, and the bonds have a tenor of 10 years.

सरकारी मालकीची सागरी क्षेत्रातील कर्जपुरवठादार संस्था असलेल्या ‘सागरमाला फायनान्स कॉर्पोरेशन’तर्फे भारताची पहिली ‘ब्लू बाँड’ (blue bond) जारी करण्याची प्रक्रिया 28 सप्टेंबर 2026 रोजी सुरू होणार आहे. या प्रस्तावित इश्यूचे मूल्य 600 कोटी रुपये असून, यात 500 कोटी रुपयांचा ‘ग्रीनशू पर्याय’ (greenshoe option) समाविष्ट आहे; तसेच या बाँड्सचा कालावधी 10 वर्षांचा असेल.

6. India co-sponsored the first Partners for Multilateralism (P4M) Summit at the United Nations, New York on 22 September 2026. The summit was co-chaired by External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.

22 सप्टेंबर 2026 रोजी न्यूयॉर्कमधील संयुक्त राष्ट्रांच्या मुख्यालयात आयोजित ‘पार्टनर्स फॉर मल्टिलॅटरलिझम’ (P4M) परिषदेचे भारताने सह-प्रायोजन केले. संयुक्त राष्ट्रांच्या आमसभेच्या 81 व्या अधिवेशनादरम्यान आयोजित या परिषदेचे सह-अध्यक्षपद परराष्ट्र मंत्री एस. जयशंकर यांनी भूषवले.

7. The Ministry of Civil Aviation will sign MoUs with 22 states on 22nd September, 2026 for the next phase of the Regional Connectivity Scheme-UDAN. The exercise will introduce a Challenge Mode and a new Routes Bidding Round under the new scheme.

नागरी उड्डाण मंत्रालय ‘प्रादेशिक संपर्क योजना-उडान’ (RCS-UDAN) च्या पुढील टप्प्यासाठी 22 सप्टेंबर 2026 रोजी 22 राज्यांशी सामंजस्य करार (MoUs) करणार आहे. या प्रक्रियेद्वारे नवीन योजनेअंतर्गत ‘चॅलेंज मोड’ आणि ‘मार्गांच्या लिलावाची नवीन फेरी’ (Routes Bidding Round) सुरू केली जाईल.

8. The Ministry of Defense has signed a contract for ₹586 crore on 21 September 2026 for procurement of indigenously developed Auxiliary Power Units for the Indian Army’s T-72 and T-90 Main Battle Tanks. The contract was signed in the presence of Defense Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh in New Delhi and the order was placed on Accurate Industrial Controls Private Limited, Pune.

संरक्षण मंत्रालयाने २१ सप्टेंबर २०२६ रोजी भारतीय लष्कराच्या T-72 आणि T-90 या मुख्य युद्ध-टाँक्ससाठी (Main Battle Tanks) स्वदेशी बनावटीच्या ‘ऑक्सिलरी पॉवर युनिट्स’च्या (Auxiliary Power Units) खरेदीसाठी586 कोटी रुपयांचा करार केला आहे. नवी दिल्ली येथे संरक्षण सचिव राजेश कुमार सिंग यांच्या उपस्थितीत हा करार करण्यात आला आणि ही ऑर्डर पुण्यातील ‘अक्युरेट इंडस्ट्रियल कंट्रोल्स प्रायव्हेट लिमिटेड’ला देण्यात आली.
