1. China has implemented a novel large language model (LLM) that draws inspiration from the political ideologies espoused by President Xi Jinping of China. “Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era” is its official title. Detailed instructions on how to adhere to China’s political, social, and economic regulations are included in this plan. The China Cyberspace Research Institute, an entity under the Cyberspace Administration of China, issued this LLM. It concentrates on establishing a secure and dependable AI environment through the use of government-approved data originating from China.
चीनचे राष्ट्राध्यक्ष शी जिनपिंग यांनी स्वीकारलेल्या राजकीय विचारसरणीपासून प्रेरणा घेणारे नॉव्हेल लार्ज लँग्वेज मॉडेल (LLM) चीनने लागू केले आहे. “शी जिनपिंग थॉट ऑन सोशलिझम विथ चायनीज कॅरॅक्टरिस्टिक्स फॉर अ न्यू एरा” हे त्याचे अधिकृत शीर्षक आहे. चीनच्या राजकीय, सामाजिक आणि आर्थिक नियमांचे पालन कसे करावे याच्या तपशीलवार सूचना या योजनेत समाविष्ट केल्या आहेत. चायना सायबरस्पेस रिसर्च इन्स्टिट्यूट, चीनच्या सायबरस्पेस ॲडमिनिस्ट्रेशनच्या अंतर्गत असलेल्या संस्थेने हे LLM जारी केले आहे. हे चीनमधून उद्भवलेल्या सरकारी मान्यताप्राप्त डेटाच्या वापराद्वारे सुरक्षित आणि विश्वासार्ह एआय वातावरण स्थापित करण्यावर लक्ष केंद्रित करते.

3. For the fiscal year 2023–24, the Central Board of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has authorised an unprecedented surplus payment to the Central Government in the amount of Rs 2.11 lakh crore. It establishes a new standard against which the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) reimburses the national treasury.

4. General Anil Chauhan, Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), initiated Cyber Suraksha – 2024 on May 22, 2024. The event is being coordinated by the Defence Cyber Agency of India and will take place from May 20th to May 24th. In order to safeguard India against emerging cyber threats, General Chauhan emphasised the criticality of enhancing the nation’s cyber defence infrastructure.

5. NTPC Limited, India’s largest energy company, got third place at the ATD BEST Awards 2024. This made it the best-performing Indian company at this prestigious international event. The award was given to Ms. Rachana Singh Bhal, CGM (Strategic HR & Talent Management), at an event in New Orleans, USA, on May 21, 2024.

6. This year’s Shaw Prize in Astronomy goes to Shrinivas R. Kulkarni, an astronomy professor with Indian roots who now lives in the US. He is famous for being one of the first people to study supernovae, gamma-ray bursts, millisecond pulsars, and other events in space that change over time.

7. The Bank of Maharashtra grew much faster than other public sector banks in India in the fiscal year 2024. The total domestic business growth for this Pune-based institution was 15.94%, which was higher than the 13.12% growth for the State Bank of India.
