| 1. On 24 July 2026, HCLTech announced the setting up of its first AI Data Centre in Odisha with a planned capital outlay of ₹14,257 crore. | 2. Karnataka to establish 200-acre Semiconductor Park at KWIN City near Bengaluru, to be functional by December 2026. | 4. The Union Cabinet approved a fresh anti-paper leak bill on 24 July 2026. The bill is likely to be introduced in Parliament on Monday, the second day of the Monsoon session. | 5. On July 23, 2026, the Supreme Court of India said it is prima facie unacceptable for bureaucrats to decide land compensation disputes under the National Highways Act, 1956. A three-judge bench headed by Chief Justice of India Surya Kant and comprising Justices Joymalya Bagchi and V. | 6. The ICAR-Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI) has launched a mobile application for deep-sea fish documentation, DeepDATA on 23 July 2026. The app contains scientifically verified information about deep-sea fish species and enables users to upload field observations to a national digital repository. ICAR-सेंट्रल मरीन फिशरीज रिसर्च इन्स्टिट्यूट (CMFRI) ने 23 जुलै 2026 रोजी खोल समुद्रातील माशांच्या नोंदी ठेवण्यासाठी ‘DeepDATA’ हे मोबाइल ॲप्लिकेशन सुरू केले आहे. या ॲपमध्ये खोल समुद्रातील माशांच्या प्रजातींविषयी शास्त्रीयदृष्ट्या पडताळलेली माहिती उपलब्ध आहे आणि ते वापरकर्त्यांना क्षेत्रीय निरीक्षणांची माहिती एका राष्ट्रीय डिजिटल भांडारात (रिपॉझिटरीमध्ये) अपलोड करण्याची सुविधा देते. |
| 7. India extended medical assistance of 4.5 tonnes to Kenya on 22 July 2026 for Ebola preparedness and response to other infectious diseases. | 8. India intends to design, build and deploy at least five indigenous Small Modular Reactors by 2033.
