1. The BRICS Heads of Tax Authorities Meeting took place in New Delhi on 23 September 2026, as the closing event of India’s BRICS Chairmanship of the tax cooperation track. Tax administrations from Brazil, China, Egypt, Ethiopia, India, Indonesia, Iran, Russia, South Africa and the United Arab Emirates took part.

भारताकडे असलेल्या ‘ब्रिक्स’ (BRICS) कर सहकार्य क्षेत्रातील अध्यक्षपदाचा समारोप करणारा कार्यक्रम म्हणून, 23 सप्टेंबर 2026 रोजी नवी दिल्ली येथे ‘ब्रिक्स’ कर प्राधिकरणांच्या प्रमुखांची बैठक झाली. यामध्ये ब्राझील, चीन, इजिप्त, इथिओपिया, भारत, इंडोनेशिया, इराण, रशिया, दक्षिण आफ्रिका आणि संयुक्त अरब अमिराती या देशांच्या कर प्रशासनांनी सहभाग घेतला.

2. MY Bharat (Mera Yuva Bharat) is a digital youth platform under Department of Youth Affairs, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the portal on 31 October 2023 and it crossed 3 crore registered youth by September 2026, less than three years after the launch.

3. Pune in Maharashtra has been given the hosting rights for the 2032 UCI Cycling Road World Championships. India will host the UCI Road World Championships, organized by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), for the first time.

पुण्याला 2032 च्या ‘यूसीआय (UCI) सायकलिंग रोड वर्ल्ड चॅम्पियनशिप्स’चे यजमानपद मिळाले आहे. ‘युनियन सायक्लिस्ट इंटरनॅशनल’ (UCI) द्वारे आयोजित केल्या जाणाऱ्या या ‘यूसीआय रोड वर्ल्ड चॅम्पियनशिप्स’चे यजमानपद भारत पहिल्यांदाच भूषवणार आहे.

4. South Central Railroad commissioned KAVACH Version 4.0 on 23 September 2026. The Malkajgiri-Kamareddi section of the 108 route kilometer in Hyderabad Division, the first deployment of KAVACH 4.0 in South Central Railroad zone, was upgraded.

दक्षिण मध्य रेल्वेने 23 सप्टेंबर 2026 रोजी ‘कवच’ (KAVACH) आवृत्ती 4.0 कार्यान्वित केली. दक्षिण मध्य रेल्वे क्षेत्रात ‘कवच’ 4.0 ची पहिली अंमलबजावणी म्हणून, हैदराबाद विभागातील 108 मार्ग-किलोमीटर लांबीच्या मलकजगिरी-कामारेड्डी मार्गाचे या प्रणालीद्वारे अद्ययावतीकरण करण्यात आले.

5. Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) on 23 September, 2026, penalized Amazon, Swiggy Instamart, BigBasket, Flipkart India and Zepto for alleged violations of food safety rules. The action covered misleading claims, misbranding, non-compliant product information and the online sale of prohibited or poisonous food articles.

अन्न सुरक्षा नियमांचे कथित उल्लंघन केल्याप्रकरणी, ‘फूड सेफ्टी अँड स्टँडर्ड्स ऑथॉरिटी ऑफ इंडिया’ने (FSSAI) 12 सप्टेंबर 2026 रोजी ॲमेझॉन (Amazon), स्विगी इन्स्टामार्ट (Swiggy Instamart), बिगबास्केट (BigBasket), फ्लिपकार्ट इंडिया (Flipkart India) आणि झेप्टो (Zepto) यांच्यावर दंडात्मक कारवाई केली. या कारवाईमध्ये दिशाभूल करणारे दावे, चुकीची लेबलिंग (misbranding), नियमांचे पालन न करणारी उत्पादनाविषयक माहिती आणि प्रतिबंधित किंवा विषारी खाद्यपदार्थांची ऑनलाइन विक्री या बाबींचा समावेश होता.

6. New Delhi, Sep 23 (PTI) The Ministry of Defense on Wednesday signed a contract worth ₹810.79 crore with Bharat Dynamics Limited for supply of 160 Satellite Smart Anti-Airfield Weapons and other related equipment for Indian Air Force. The procurement is under Buy (Indian-Indigenously Designed, Developed and Manufactured) category and relates to an air-to-ground precision-guided glide bomb system.

नवी दिल्ली, 23 सप्टेंबर (पीटीआय): संरक्षण मंत्रालयाने बुधवारी ‘भारत डायनॅमिक्स लिमिटेड’सोबत ₹810.79 कोटी रुपयांचा करार केला. या करारानुसार, भारतीय हवाई दलासाठी 160 ‘सॅटेलाइट स्मार्ट अँटी-एअरफील्ड वेपन्स’ (SSAAW) आणि इतर संबंधित उपकरणांचा पुरवठा केला जाणार आहे. ही खरेदी ‘बाय (इंडियन – स्वदेशी बनावटीची रचना, विकास आणि उत्पादन)’ या श्रेणींतर्गत केली जात असून, ही प्रणाली ‘एअर-टू-ग्राउंड प्रिसिजन-गाइडेड ग्लाइड बॉम्ब’ प्रकारातील आहे.

7. The Delhi government on 23 September 2026 approved the Driving Upliftment and Rozgar for Women/Transgender Green e-Auto (DURGA) scheme. The scheme offers 1,300 pink electric autos for women and transgender persons in Delhi.

दिल्ली सरकारने 23 सप्टेंबर 2026 रोजी ‘ड्रायव्हिंग अपलिफ्टमेंट अँड रोजगार फॉर वुमन/ट्रान्सजेंडर ग्रीन ई-ऑटो’ (DURGA) योजनेला मंजुरी दिली. या योजनेअंतर्गत दिल्लीतील महिला आणि तृतीयपंथी व्यक्तींसाठी 1300 गुलाबी रंगाच्या इलेक्ट्रिक रिक्षा (ई-ऑटो) उपलब्ध करून दिल्या जाणार आहेत.
