1. The first anniversary of the iconic National War Memorial in New Delhi is being observed on 25 February.

2. Government has formally announced the constitution of the 22nd Law Commission.

3. Government has amended provisions of the Arms Act, 1959 and Arms Rules, 2016 to increase the number of firearms that can be kept by shooters and enhanced quantity of ammunition fixed for practice for the year.
नेमबाजांनी ठेवू शकणार्‍या बंदुक आणि शस्त्रे यांची संख्या वाढविण्यासाठी सरकारने शस्त्रे कायदा 1959 आणि शस्त्रे नियम, 2016 मधील तरतुदींमध्ये बदल केला आहे.

4. National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has sanctioned an amount of over 400 crore rupees to the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir during the current financial year for giving boost to the infrastructure in the rural areas.
राष्ट्रीय कृषी व ग्रामीण विकास बँक (नाबार्ड) ने ग्रामीण भागातील पायाभूत सुविधांना चालना देण्यासाठी चालू आर्थिक वर्षात जम्मू-काश्मीर केंद्र शासित प्रदेशाला 400 कोटींपेक्षा जास्त रक्कम मंजूर केली आहे.

5. A National Integration Camp (NIC) was inaugurated at the Indian Himalayan Centre for Adventure and Eco-tourism Institute at Chemchey, South Sikkim on 24 February 2020.

7. Indian wrestler Pinki secured the coveted gold medal after beating Mongolia’s Dulguun Bolormaa in the women’s 55kg final at the Asian Championships in Delhi.

8. Sarita Mor eked out a 3-2 win over Battsetseg Atlantsetseg of Mongolia in the women’s 59 kg final to clinch the gold medal.
महिलांच्या 59 किलो स्पर्धेच्या अंतिम सामन्यात सरिता मोरने मंगोलियाच्या बटसेटसेग अटलांटसेगवर 3-2 असा विजय मिळवत सुवर्णपदक जिंकले.

Indian men’s doubles pair of Achanta Sharath Kamal and Gnanasekaran Sathiyan clinched the silver medal at the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) World Tour Hungarian Open under Men’s doubles category. They were defeated by German combination of Benedikt Duda and Patrick Franziska at Budapest who secured 5-11, 9-11, 11-8, 9-11.
भारतीय टेबल डबल्स जोडी अचंता शरथ कमल आणि ज्ञानसेकर सथियानने पुरुष दुहेरी प्रकारात आंतरराष्ट्रीय टेबल टेनिस महासंघाच्या (आयटीटीएफ) वर्ल्ड टूर हंगेरियन ओपन स्पर्धेत रौप्यपदक मिळवले. जर्मनीच्या बेनेडिक्ट डूडा आणि पॅट्रिक फ्रान्झिस्का यांच्या जोडीने बुडापेस्ट येथे 5-10, 9-11, 11-8, 9-11 अशी मात केली.

10. The International Cricket Council (ICC) has banned Oman player Yousuf Abdulrahim Al Balushi from all forms of cricket for seven years for his involvement in trying to fix matches.
आंतरराष्ट्रीय क्रिकेट कौन्सिलने (ICC) ओमानचा खेळाडू युसूफ अब्दुर्रहीम अल बलुशीला सामन्यांचे निराकरण करण्याच्या प्रयत्नात गुंतल्याबद्दल सात वर्षांसाठी सर्व प्रकारच्या क्रिकेटमधून बंदी घातली आहे.
