| 1. Delhi’s Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has started the “CM Jan Sunwai Portal” and a mobile app that lets people file complaints online. The goal of the initiative is to improve how complaints are handled using technology. The government also launched improved e-District services and a new admissions system for students from Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), Disadvantaged Groups (DG), and Children with Special Needs (CWSN). दिल्लीच्या मुख्यमंत्री रेखा गुप्ता यांनी “सीएम जन सुनवाई पोर्टल” आणि एक मोबाईल ॲप सुरू केले आहे जे लोकांना ऑनलाइन तक्रारी दाखल करण्यास अनुमती देते. तंत्रज्ञानाचा वापर करून तक्रारी कशा हाताळल्या जातात हे सुधारणे हे या उपक्रमाचे उद्दिष्ट आहे. सरकारने सुधारित ई-जिल्हा सेवा आणि आर्थिकदृष्ट्या दुर्बल घटक (EWS), वंचित गट (DG) आणि विशेष गरजा असलेल्या मुलांसाठी (CWSN) नवीन प्रवेश प्रणाली देखील सुरू केली आहे. |
| 2. The “Rajasthan Homestay (Paying Guest House) Scheme – 2026” was announced by the state’s tourism department to boost tourism, rural income, and self-employment. Praveen Gupta, the Additional Chief Secretary (Tourism), announced the initiative. He said that the goal of the program is to make approvals easier and get more people involved in the tourism industry. पर्यटन, ग्रामीण उत्पन्न आणि स्वयंरोजगाराला चालना देण्यासाठी राज्याच्या पर्यटन विभागाने “राजस्थान होमस्टे (पैसे द्यायचे अतिथी गृह) योजना – २०२६” ची घोषणा केली. अतिरिक्त मुख्य सचिव (पर्यटन) प्रवीण गुप्ता यांनी या उपक्रमाची घोषणा केली. त्यांनी सांगितले की, या कार्यक्रमाचे उद्दिष्ट मंजुरी सुलभ करणे आणि पर्यटन उद्योगात अधिकाधिक लोकांना सहभागी करून घेणे आहे. |
| 3. The Railway Protection Force (RPF) hosted the 7th All India Conference of Government Railway Police (GRP) Chiefs at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. Ms. Sonali Mishra, Director General of the RPF, led the conference. It was attended by Directors General of Police, Additional Directors General, and senior GRP officers from different States and Union Territories. The Chairman-cum-CEO and other members of the Railway Board were also there. रेल्वे संरक्षण दलाने (RPF) नवी दिल्लीतील विज्ञान भवन येथे सरकारी रेल्वे पोलिस (GRP) प्रमुखांच्या 7 व्या अखिल भारतीय परिषदेचे आयोजन केले होते. RPF च्या महासंचालक सुश्री सोनाली मिश्रा यांनी या परिषदेचे नेतृत्व केले. या परिषदेला विविध राज्ये आणि केंद्रशासित प्रदेशांमधील पोलिस महासंचालक, अतिरिक्त महासंचालक आणि वरिष्ठ GRP अधिकारी उपस्थित होते. रेल्वे बोर्डाचे अध्यक्ष-सह-मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी आणि इतर सदस्य देखील उपस्थित होते. |
| 4. The Supreme Court has made it very clear that Aadhaar cannot be used to get citizenship. It has also said that the document is only proof of identity. The observation was made during hearings about the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of West Bengal’s electoral rolls, which are currently being checked for nearly 50 lakh voters. The court also talked about ways to speed up the process of checking voter documents before the new electoral lists are made public. सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाने हे स्पष्ट केले आहे की आधार कार्डचा वापर नागरिकत्व मिळविण्यासाठी करता येत नाही. तसेच हे कागदपत्र केवळ ओळखीचा पुरावा आहे असेही म्हटले आहे. पश्चिम बंगालच्या मतदार यादीच्या विशेष सघन सुधारणा (SIR) बद्दलच्या सुनावणीदरम्यान हे निरीक्षण नोंदवण्यात आले, जी सध्या सुमारे ५० लाख मतदारांसाठी तपासली जात आहे. नवीन मतदार यादी सार्वजनिक करण्यापूर्वी मतदार कागदपत्रे तपासण्याची प्रक्रिया कशी वेगवान करावी याबद्दलही न्यायालयाने सांगितले. |
| 5. The Banglar Yuva Sathi Scheme 2026 is a big welfare program in West Bengal that helps young people who are out of work. The Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee, announced the plan during the interim Budget. It will give eligible candidates ₹1,500 a month. The program was supposed to start in August, but it has been moved up and will now start on April 1, 2026. बंगालर युवा साथी योजना २०२६ ही पश्चिम बंगालमधील एक मोठी कल्याणकारी योजना आहे जी बेरोजगार तरुणांना मदत करते. मुख्यमंत्री ममता बॅनर्जी यांनी अंतरिम अर्थसंकल्पात या योजनेची घोषणा केली. या योजनेतून पात्र उमेदवारांना दरमहा ₹१,५०० देण्यात येतील. हा कार्यक्रम ऑगस्टमध्ये सुरू होणार होता, परंतु तो पुढे ढकलण्यात आला आहे आणि आता १ एप्रिल २०२६ पासून सुरू होईल. |

Scientists from the ICAR-Directorate of Floricultural Research (ICAR-DFR) in Pune have made a big discovery in the field of entomology: they have found a new species of blossom midge that is infesting jasmine flower buds in India. The new species, called “Contarinia icardiflores,” has been found attacking “Jasminum sambac,” an important ornamental crop for business. | 7. The United Nations has named cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar a “Global Champion for Road Safety.” He joins a group of well-known people from around the world who are working to make roads safer. | 8. India did not vote in the United Nations General Assembly on a draft resolution that called for an immediate, full, and unconditional ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine. The vote took place four years after Russia invaded Ukraine and showed that the international community is still divided over the conflict. The Assembly, which has 193 members, passed the resolution with 107 votes in favor, 12 against, and 51 abstentions. The resolution was called “Support for lasting peace in Ukraine.”रशिया आणि युक्रेनमध्ये तात्काळ, पूर्ण आणि बिनशर्त युद्धबंदीची मागणी करणाऱ्या ठरावाच्या मसुद्यावर भारताने संयुक्त राष्ट्रांच्या आमसभेत मतदान केले नाही. रशियाने युक्रेनवर आक्रमण केल्यानंतर चार वर्षांनी हे मतदान झाले आणि या संघर्षावर आंतरराष्ट्रीय समुदाय अजूनही विभाजित असल्याचे दिसून आले. १९३ सदस्य असलेल्या विधानसभेने १०७ बाजूने, १२ विरोधात आणि ५१ गैरहजर राहून हा ठराव मंजूर केला. “युक्रेनमध्ये शाश्वत शांततेसाठी पाठिंबा” असे या ठरावाचे नाव होते. |
