2. Nepal has invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to attend the first Sagarmatha Sambaad forum to be held here in April.
नेपाळने पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांना एप्रिलमध्ये येथे होणाऱ्या पहिल्या सागरमाथा संवाद मंचात उपस्थित राहण्याचे आमंत्रण दिले आहे.

3. India supplied 30,000 doses of Measles and Rubella (MR) vaccine to the Maldives responding swiftly to an emergency request to contain the measles outbreak in the Maldives.
मालदीवमध्ये गोवरच्या रोगाचा प्रादुर्भाव कमी होण्याच्या आपत्कालीन विनंतीस त्वरित प्रतिसाद म्हणून मालसाइव्हला गोवर आणि रुबेला (MR) लस 30,000 डोस भारताने पुरविल्या आहेत.

4. The Maharashtra State Cooperative (MSC) Bank has submitted a joint proposal for a merger with the Rupee Cooperative Bank.

5. In a historic first, the Greek parliament has elected Katerina Sakellaropoulou as its first female president.

6. India and Bangladesh signed an agreement to upgrade Ashuganj-Akhaura road into a 4-lane highway on 24 January. The agreement aim is to upgrade the 50.58 kilometre long road between Ashuganj river port and the Akhaura land port in Bangladesh into a 4-lane highway.
भारत आणि बांगलादेश यांच्यात 24 जानेवारी रोजी आशुगंज-अखौरा रस्ता चौपदरी महामार्गावर श्रेणीसुधारित करण्याचा करार झाला. आशुगंज नदी बंदर आणि बांगलादेशातील अखौरा भू-बंदर दरम्यानचा 50.58 किलोमीटर लांबीचा रस्ता la लेन हायवेमध्ये सुधारण्याचे या कराराचे उद्दीष्ट आहे.

7. Ministry of Tribal Affairs has proposed to declare the 6th Schedule Area status to Ladakh. The proposal was made by the Tribal Affairs Minister Arjun Munda. The Ministry is taking all necessary measures to preserve and enrich the rich legacy of Ladakh.
आदिवासी कार्य मंत्रालयाने लडाखला सहाव्या अनुसूची क्षेत्राचा दर्जा जाहीर करण्याचा प्रस्ताव दिला आहे. आदिवासी कार्यमंत्री अर्जुन मुंडा यांनी हा प्रस्ताव मांडला होता. मंत्रालय लडाखचा समृद्ध वारसा जतन व समृद्ध करण्यासाठी सर्व आवश्यक उपाययोजना करीत आहे.

8. Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is to display various indigenously-developed military systems and technologies in the forthcoming DefExpo 2020. It aims to bring alive the spirit of self-reliance and national pride.

9. National Tourism Day is celebrated on 25 January. The day aims to raise awareness about the importance of tourism for the country’s economy.

10. Veteran film producer Vinay Sinha passed away on 24 January 2020. He directed famous films like Andaz Apna Apna and Rafoo Chakkar
ज्येष्ठ चित्रपट निर्माते विनय सिन्हा यांचे 24 जानेवारी 2020 रोजी निधन झाले. त्यांनी अंदाज अपना आणि रफू चक्कर यासारख्या प्रसिद्ध चित्रपटांचे दिग्दर्शन केले.
