1. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced that the entire country will go into complete lockdown for 21 days.

2. The government has allocated 15,000 crore rupees to strengthen health infrastructure to the spread of coronavirus.

3. First Made in India Test Kit to diagnose COVID-19 has got commercial approval by the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO).

4. Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman waived minimum balance charges for savings bank accounts to help citizens deal with the lockdown due to the coronavirus crisis.

5. The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi approved for continuation of Rebate of State and Central Taxes and Levies (RoSCTL) scheme from 1 April 2020.

6. Scientists from the Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology (WIHG), Dehradun found that glaciers in Sikkim are melting at a higher magnitude as compared to other Himalayan regions.

9. India banned exports of anti-malarial drug hydroxychloroquine on 25 March with immediate effect. The drug hydroxychloroquine is believed to have some positive effect on the treatment of the coronavirus.
25 मार्च रोजी मलेरिया विरोधी औषध हायड्रॉक्सीक्लोरोक्विनच्या निर्यातीवर त्वरित परिणाम म्हणून भारताने बंदी घातली. असे मानले जाते की औषध हायड्रॉक्सीक्लोरोक्वीनचा कोरोनाव्हायरसच्या उपचारांवर काही सकारात्मक परिणाम होतो.

10. Japan’s Prime Minister and the head of the International Olympic Committee Shinzo Abe agreed to postpone the Tokyo 2020 Games by a year in an extraordinary move.
