1. The union finance minister recently announced the excise cut on petrol and diesel to contain inflation. She also announced a ₹200 subsidy for those buying LPG cylinders under the PM Ujjwala Yojana scheme.
महागाई रोखण्यासाठी केंद्रीय अर्थमंत्र्यांनी पेट्रोल आणि डिझेलवरील अबकारी कपातीची नुकतीच घोषणा केली. पीएम उज्ज्वला योजना योजनेंतर्गत एलपीजी सिलिंडर खरेदी करणाऱ्यांसाठी ₹ 200 सबसिडीची घोषणाही त्यांनी केली.

2. The India chapter of the Alliance of CEO Climate Action Leaders has been launched on the 23rd of May 2022 by the World Economic Forum (WEF) to boost India’s decarbonization and climate action efforts.

3. From 22nd to 28th May 2022, the 75th World Health Assembly is being held in Geneva, Switzerland. This is the first in-person Health Assembly since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
22 ते 28 मे 2022 या कालावधीत स्वित्झर्लंडमधील जिनिव्हा येथे 75 वी जागतिक आरोग्य सभा होत आहे. COVID-19 महामारी सुरू झाल्यापासून ही पहिली वैयक्तिक आरोग्य सभा आहे.

4. ASHA (Accredited Social Health Activist) workers received the Global Health Leaders Award-2022 in the backdrop of the 75th World Health Assembly. World Health Organization (WHO) said that ASHA workers were honored for their key role in linking the community with health care, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic.

7. Vedanta Aluminium has recently entered a long-term contract with NHAI to construct greener roads with fly-ash in Odisha.

 8. According to RBI’s 38th Report on Management of Foreign Exchange Reserves India’s Forex Reserves fall by $28.05 billion in September-March 2022.
RBI च्या परकीय चलन साठ्याच्या व्यवस्थापनावरील 38 व्या अहवालानुसार सप्टेंबर-मार्च 2022 मध्ये भारताच्या परकीय चलन साठ्यात $28.05 अब्जची घट झाली आहे.

9. Odisha won the 12th “Hockey India Senior Women’s National Championship” 2022 title. Odisha women’s team has won its first-ever gold in Senior Nationals as they defeat Karnataka 2-0 in the final of the 12th Hockey India Senior Women’s National Championship.

10. “UEFA Europa Football League” title won by Germany’s Eintracht Frankfurt. German club Eintracht Frankfurt has won their first European trophy in 42 years after defeating the Rangers.
