1. Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed Virtual Vesak Global Celebrations on Buddha Purnima on May 26, 2021. Over 50 most prominent Buddhist religious leaders from across the world also addressed the virtual congregation.
पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांनी 26 मे, 2021 रोजी बुद्ध पौर्णिमेनिमित्त व्हर्च्युअल वेस्क ग्लोबल सेलिब्रेशनला संबोधित केले. जगभरातील 50 हून अधिक प्रख्यात बौद्ध धार्मिक नेत्यांनीही आभासी मंडळीला संबोधित केले.

2. Northern Railway has ordered suspension of wrestler Sushil Kumar after he was arrested by Delhi Police in a murder case.

3. Security and Exchange Board of India is considering to appoint auditors in a bid to conduct forensic audits of financial statements of listed companies to strengthen its efforts towards curbing frauds.

5. The government has raised about Rs 4,000 crore from sale of 1.95 per cent stake in Axis Bank held through SUUTI.

10. India’s first Dronacharya awardee coach in boxing, O P Bhardwaj, died. He was 82.
