| 1. Gujarat launched Cyber Financial Fraud e-Zero FIR service in Gandhinagar on 27.07.2026. Victims of cyber financial fraud can file complaints from home through the national cybercrime helpline 1930 and an e-Zero FIR is created for transfer to the appropriate police station. Advertisement

गुजरातने 27 जुलै 2026 रोजी गांधीनगरमध्ये ‘सायबर फायनान्शियल फ्रॉड ई-झिरो एफआयआर’ (Cyber Financial Fraud e-Zero FIR) सेवा सुरू केली. सायबर आर्थिक फसवणुकीचे बळी ठरलेले लोक ‘1930’ या राष्ट्रीय सायबर गुन्हे हेल्पलाइनद्वारे घरबसल्या तक्रार नोंदवू शकतात आणि त्यानंतर संबंधित पोलीस ठाण्याकडे हस्तांतरित करण्यासाठी ‘ई-झिरो एफआयआर’ तयार केली जाते. |
| 2. India approved anhydrous ammonia for manufacturing and use as a fertiliser for three years on 23 July 2026. Anhydrous ammonia is 82% nitrogen, and is used directly as a nitrogen source in agriculture. 23 जुलै 2026 रोजी भारताने ‘अॅनहायड्रस अमोनिया’च्या (anhydrous ammonia) उत्पादनास आणि खत म्हणून त्याच्या वापरास तीन वर्षांसाठी मंजुरी दिली. ॲनहायड्रस अमोनियामध्ये 82% नायट्रोजन असतो आणि शेतीमध्ये नायट्रोजनचा स्रोत म्हणून त्याचा थेट वापर केला जातो. |
| 3. INSAT-3DR is an India meteorological satellite launched on 8 September 2016 by GSLV-F05. It is in geostationary orbit and gives real-time data for weather forecasting, cyclone tracking, disaster management and search and rescue operations over India and neighbouring areas. INSAT-3DR हा भारताचा एक हवामानविषयक उपग्रह आहे, जो 8 सप्टेंबर २०१६ रोजी GSLV-F05 द्वारे प्रक्षेपित करण्यात आला. हा उपग्रह भूस्थिर कक्षेत (geostationary orbit) स्थित असून, भारत आणि आसपासच्या क्षेत्रांमधील हवामान अंदाज, चक्रीवादळाचा मागोवा, आपत्ती व्यवस्थापन तसेच शोध व बचाव कार्यांसाठी तो ‘रिअल-टाइम’ (तत्काळ) माहिती पुरवतो. |

| 5. Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Education Minister resigned from the Union Council of Ministers on 25 July 2026. Pralhad Joshi was appointed as Union Education Minister. He took over the charge of Ministry of Education at Kartavya Bhavan on 26 July 2026 and also continued to hold the additional charge of the Ministries of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution and New & Renewable Energy. केंद्रीय शिक्षण मंत्री धर्मेंद्र प्रधान यांनी 25 जुलै 2026 रोजी केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडळाचा राजीनामा दिला. प्रल्हाद जोशी यांची केंद्रीय शिक्षण मंत्री म्हणून नियुक्ती करण्यात आली. त्यांनी 26 जुलै 2026 रोजी कर्तव्य भवन येथे शिक्षण मंत्रालयाचा कार्यभार स्वीकारला आणि त्यासोबतच ग्राहक व्यवहार, अन्न व सार्वजनिक वितरण तसेच नवीन व नवीकरणीय ऊर्जा मंत्रालयांचा अतिरिक्त कार्यभारही सांभाळणे सुरू ठेवले. |

| 7. Nepal Rastra Bank has permitted Indian and Nepalese nationals to carry Indian currency notes of denomination of ₹200 and ₹500 across the India-Nepal border. The notes allowed must be issued on or after 9 November 2016, the date associated with India’s demonetisation exercise. नेपाळ राष्ट्र बँकेने भारतीय आणि नेपाळी नागरिकांना भारत-नेपाळ सीमा ओलांडताना 200 आणि 500 रुपयांच्या भारतीय चलनी नोटा सोबत बाळगण्याची परवानगी दिली आहे. या नोटा 9 नोव्हेंबर 2016 रोजी किंवा त्यानंतर जारी केलेल्या असाव्यात; ही तारीख भारतातील नोटाबंदीच्या प्रक्रियेशी संबंधित आहे. |
| 8. The 2026 Commonwealth Games are scheduled to take place in Glasgow, Scotland, from 23 July to 2 August 2026.
