1. World Day for Safety & Health at Work is observed on April 28 in the view of promoting the prevention of occupational accidents globally and illnesses at the workplace.

2. The fourth Thursday in April is designated as International Girls in ICT Day. This year’s International Girls in ICT Day is April 28th, 2022.

4. Netflix India has launched a short video series named ‘Azadi Ki Amrit Kahaniya’ in partnership with the Information and Broadcasting Ministry.

5. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has expanded its strategic collaboration with SBI Cards and Payments Services Ltd to support the digital transformation of SBI Cards.

6. Customers of Airtel Payments Bank can now open a fixed deposit (FD) accounts with IndusInd Bank. On the Airtel Thanks app, customers may open FDs ranging from Rs 500 to Rs 190,000.
एअरटेल पेमेंट्स बँकेचे ग्राहक आता IndusInd बँकेत मुदत ठेव (FD) खाती उघडू शकतात. एअरटेल थँक्स ॲपवर, ग्राहक 500 रुपये ते 190,000 रुपयांपर्यंतची एफडी उघडू शकतात.

7. The International arm of the National Payment Corporation of India, NPCI International Payments Ltd (NIPL), has announced that BHIM UPI is now available at NEOPAY terminals across the UAE.
नॅशनल पेमेंट कॉर्पोरेशन ऑफ इंडियाची आंतरराष्ट्रीय शाखा, NPCI इंटरनॅशनल पेमेंट्स लिमिटेड (NIPL) ने घोषणा केली आहे की BHIM UPI आता संपूर्ण UAE मध्ये NEOPAY टर्मिनल्सवर उपलब्ध आहे.

8. On 27th April 2022, the India Pharma Awards 2022, and India Medical Device Awards 2022 were handed over by the Minister of State for the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilisers Bhagwanth Khuba.

9. On 27th April 2022, the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs gave its approval to invest Rs 4,526.12 crore for the 540 MW Kwar Hydro-electric project that is located on Chenab River, Kishwar district, Jammu & Kashmir.

10. The UN World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) has announced that Russia has decided to withdraw from the UNWTO. The announcement was made by UN World Tourism Organization Secretary-General Zurab Pololikashvili.
