1. A new gadget that measures voltage without touching it has been patented by the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) and the College of Engineering Thiruvananthapuram (CET). This is a big step forward in the field of measuring electricity. This brand-new idea is a huge step forward in the study of electricity.
व्होल्टेजला स्पर्श न करता मोजणारे नवीन गॅझेट इंडियन इन्स्टिट्यूट ऑफ टेक्नॉलॉजी मद्रास (IIT मद्रास) आणि कॉलेज ऑफ इंजिनियरिंग तिरुवनंतपुरम (CET) यांनी पेटंट केले आहे. वीज मोजण्याच्या क्षेत्रात हे एक मोठे पाऊल आहे. ही अगदी नवीन कल्पना विजेच्या अभ्यासात एक मोठे पाऊल आहे.

2. Thai elections for the Senate will be held for the first time since the military took over in 2014. The last Senate, which was put together after the coup, left office in May. There were 200 open Senate seats, and more than 48,000 people applied for them. Usually, people who back the military and the royalist programme fill these places. The number of senators was cut from 250 to 200, and they lost the power to choose the Prime Minister. These are very important changes.

3. An entirely new type of algae has been discovered by botany scientists at Catholicate College. This brings us a long way in understanding the variety in the Western Ghats, an area of India’s forests famous for its many plant and animal species.

Over the course of 2022 and 2023, the US, EU, UK, Australia, Canada, Brazil, New Zealand, and Japan all spoke out against India’s support for farm products at a meeting of the World Trade Organisation (WTO). India received about $48 billion in aid to help pay for things like electricity, water, and fertiliser.

5. In the past few months, the Indian Army has taken big steps towards doing its work using transportation that is good for the earth and will last. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed with the Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) to make the relationship public. This is a big part of the project.

6. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has been asked by four large European banks to keep buying and selling Indian government bonds and futures. The banks are Credit Agricole, Societe Generale, Deutsche Bank, and BNP Paribas. This happened because of issues with audit and inspection rights, and the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) took away the CCIL’s registration.

7. The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) will add Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd (APSEZ) to the Sensex on June 24. APSEZ is part of the Adani Group. With this big step forward, APSEZ is the first company owned by the Adani Group to join the Sensex. It takes the place of the tech company Wipro. The National Stock Exchange (NSE) Nifty index added APSEZ and another Adani company, Adani Enterprises. This is what happened. Price drops at Adani caused a rough patch when they went down a lot. This was because Hindenburg Research said there were money problems, which Adani has rejected.
