1. International Dance Day is celebrated on 29 April. The day is observed to appreciate the art form. It encourages participation and education in dance. The day is celebrated with people from all over the world contributing to dance.
आंतरराष्ट्रीय नृत्य दिन 29 एप्रिल रोजी साजरा केला जातो. दिवस कला प्रकार कौतुक करण्यासाठी साजरा केला जातो. हे नृत्यात सहभाग आणि शिक्षणास प्रोत्साहित करते. हा दिवस जगभरातील लोक नृत्याला हातभार लावतात.

2. Asian Development Bank has approved a 1.5 billion dollars loan to India to help fund its fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
आशियाई विकास बँकेने कोरोनाव्हायरस साथीच्या आजाराविरुद्धच्या लढाईस मदत करण्यासाठी भारताला दीड अब्ज डॉलर्सचे कर्ज मंजूर केले आहे.

3. Government has announced around 11 per cent increase in annual central allocation of cooking cost under Mid-day meal scheme to 8 thousand 100 crore rupees in view of the situation arising out of COVID-19.
कोविड -19 पासून उद्भवलेल्या परिस्थितीच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर सरकारने मिड-डे मील योजनेंतर्गत स्वयंपाकाच्या खर्चाच्या वार्षिक केंद्रीय वाटपामध्ये सुमारे 11 टक्क्यांची वाढ जाहीर केली आहे.

4. Justice Dipankar Datta took oath as the new Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court. Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari administered the oath of office to him at Raj Bhavan.

6. Union Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change Prakash Javadekar represented India in the first virtual Petersberg Climate Dialogue on 28 April.

7. A report by the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Secretariat stated that the APEC region is expected to post a 2.7% economic decline in 2020 due to the impact of COVID-19.

8. India is set to produce indigenous rapid testing and RT-PCR diagnostic kits by the end of May. The information was passed by the Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan.

9. Pakistan’s southern Sindh province Governor Imran Ismail, a close aide of Prime Minister Imran Khan, has been tested positive for COVID-19.

10. Renowned actor Irrfan Khan passed away in a Mumbai hospital, losing his battle with a rare form of cancer. He was 53.
प्रख्यात अभिनेता इरफान खान यांचे कर्करोगाच्या दुर्मिळ प्रकाराने लढाईत मुंबईच्या रुग्णालयात निधन झाले. ते 53 वर्षांचे होते.
