1. Maharashtra State government is set to become single-use plastic-free by 1 May 2020. The announcement was made by the State environment minister Aaditya Thackeray.
महाराष्ट्र राज्य 1 मे 2020 पर्यंत सिंगल युज प्लास्टिकमुक्त होणार असल्याची घोषणा राज्याचे पर्यावरणमंत्री आदित्य ठाकरे यांनी केली.

8. IT company Tech Mahindra has signed an agreement to acquire 100 per cent stake in US-based Zen3 Infosolutions for $64 million (Rs 460 crore) in an all-cash deal.
