2. Abbott announced it has received the United States Food and Drug Administration’s Emergency Use Authorisation (EUA) for its rapid, portable, point-of-care molecular test for the detection of novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
अ‍ॅबॉटने घोषित केले की कोरोनाव्हायरस (COVID-19) शोधण्यासाठी जलद, पोर्टेबल, पॉईंट ऑफ-केअर रेणू चाचणीसाठी अमेरिकेच्या अन्न व औषध प्रशासनाचा आपत्कालीन उपयोग प्राधिकरण (ईयूए) प्राप्त झाला आहे.

3. Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the creation of an assistance and emergency situation relief fund where people can contribute and help in the government’s fight against coronavirus.

4. The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of two Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officers as members of the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT).
केंद्रीय प्रत्यक्ष कर मंडळाचे (CBDT) सदस्य म्हणून दोन भारतीय महसूल सेवा (IRS) अधिकारी नियुक्त करण्यास मंत्रिमंडळाच्या नियुक्ती समितीने मान्यता दिली आहे.

5. International Monetary Fund (IMF) chief Kristalina Georgieva announced that the global economy is now in a recession due to coronavirus. It has been made clear that the world countries have entered a recession.
आंतरराष्ट्रीय नाणेनिधी (IMF) ची प्रमुख क्रिस्टलिना जॉर्जियावा यांनी जाहीर केले की कोरोनाव्हायरसमुळे जागतिक अर्थव्यवस्था आता मंदीच्या स्थितीत आहे. हे स्पष्ट केले गेले आहे की जागतिक देशांनी मंदीमध्ये प्रवेश केला आहे.

6. The Central Government approved the launch of insurance scheme for health workers, who are fighting the COVID-19 outbreak, under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan package.

7. Panama’s government has given permission to a cruise ship on which four passengers have died during travel through its canal.

8. In Jammu, two hospitals Psychiatry Hospital and Chest Diseases hospital have been exclusively dedicated to treating COVID-19 patients.

9. Chief Minister of Nagaland Neiphiu Rio launched the Self Declaration COVID-19 Nagaland App at Kohima on 28 March. The app is aimed to trace the person who entered the state, as a measure to tackle the spread of Coronavirus.

नागालँडचे मुख्यमंत्री नीफ्यू रिओ यांनी 28 मार्च रोजी कोहिमा येथे सेल्फ डिक्लेरेशन कोविड -19 नागालँड ॲप लाँच केले. कोरोनाव्हायरसच्या प्रसारावर उपाय म्हणून राज्यात प्रवेश केलेल्या व्यक्तीचा शोध घेण्यासाठी ॲपचे लक्ष्य आहे.

10. Power generating f irm NTPC concluded the acquisition of Centre’s entire stake in two hydropower generating firms, THDC India and North Eastern Electric Power Corporation (NEEPCO), at Rs 11,500 crore.

एनटीपीसीने विद्युत उत्पादन करणार्‍या एनएचटीसीने दोन जलविद्युत उत्पादन कंपन्या टीएचडीसी इंडिया आणि ईशान्य इलेक्ट्रिक पॉवर कॉर्पोरेशन (नेपको) मधील केंद्राच्या संपूर्ण भागभांडवलाचे 11,500 कोटी रुपयांत अधिग्रहण केले.
