1.  Minister of Railways and Coal, Shri Piyush Goyal has launched “Rail Heritage Digitisation Project” of Indian Railways in collaboration with Google Arts & Culture here today through video-conferencing.
रेल्वे आणि कोळसा मंत्री श्री. पियुष गोयल यांनी आज  Google कला आणि संस्कृती यांच्या सहकार्याने भारतीय रेल्वेच्या “रेल हेरिटेज डिजिटायझेशन प्रोजेक्ट” ला व्हिडिओ कॉन्फरन्सिंगद्वारे लॉन्च केले आहे.

2. China will hold the fifth World Internet Conference (WIC) in November which is expected to be attended by delegates from several countries and international organisations.
नोव्हेंबरमध्ये चीन पाचव्या जागतिक इंटरनेट कॉन्फरन्सचे (डब्ल्यूआयसी) आयोजन करणार आहे,  अनेक देश आणि आंतरराष्ट्रीय संस्थांकडून प्रतिनिधी उपस्थित राहण्याची अपेक्षा आहे.

3. The Reserve Bank of India allowed banks to dip further into statutory cash reserves to ease a liquidity squeeze afflicting the nation’s money markets.
रिझर्व्ह बँक ऑफ इंडियाने बँकांना देशाच्या पैशांच्या बाजारपेठेत अडथळा आणणारी तरलता कमी करण्यासाठी बँकांना सांविधिक रोख राखीव ठेवण्यास परवानगी दिली आहे.

4. After deciding to merge Bank of Baroda (BoB), Vijaya Bank and Dena Bank, Centre is reportedly planning the amalgamation of Punjab National Bank (PNB), Andhra Bank and Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC).
बँक ऑफ बडोदा (BoB), विजया बँक आणि देना बँक विलीन करण्याचा निर्णय घेतल्यानंतर केंद्र सरकार  पंजाब नॅशनल बँक (पीएनबी), आंध्रा बँक आणि ओरिएंटल बँक ऑफ कॉमर्स (ओबीसी) च्या  विलीनीकरणची योजना आखत आहे.

5. This increase in import duty is aimed at bridging Current Account Deficit (CAD). The total value of imports of these items in the year 2017-18 was about Rs 86,000 crore. Diamonds, gold, refrigerators, footwear, bath soaps, air conditioners to be costlier.
करंट अकाउंट डेफिट (सीएडी) ब्रिजिंग करण्याच्या हेतूने आयात शुल्कात वाढ झाली आहे. सन 2017-18 मध्ये या वस्तूंच्या आयातीची एकूण किंमत सुमारे 86,000 कोटी रुपये होती. हीरे, सोने, रेफ्रिजरेटर्स, फूटवेअर, बाथ साबण आणि एअर कंडिशनर्स महाग झाले आहेत.

10. Former Gujarat Minister Manoharsinh Jadeja died. He was 83.
