1. Asian Development Bank, ADB, President Takehiko Nakao met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and pledged to support the government’s new flagship initiatives.
एशियन डेव्हलपमेंट बँक, एडीबी, अध्यक्ष तेहिको नाकाओ यांनी पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांची भेट घेतली आणि सरकारच्या नव्या प्रमुख उपक्रमांना पाठिंबा देण्याचे वचन दिले.

2. Department of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers Welfare released the Third Advanced Estimate (2018-19) of area and production of various Horticulture Crops. The total horticulture production of the country is estimated to be over 313 million tonnes which is 0.69 per cent higher than the production in 2017-18.
कृषी, सहकार आणि शेतकरी कल्याण विभागाने क्षेत्रफळ व विविध बागायती पिकाचे तिसरे प्रगत अंदाज (2018-19) जाहीर केले. देशाचे एकूण फलोत्पादन उत्पादन अंदाजे 313 दशलक्ष टनांपेक्षा जास्त आहे जे सन 2017-18 मधील उत्पादनापेक्षा 0.69 टक्क्यांनी जास्त आहे.

3. French President Emmanuel Macron’s government moves a bill to shrink the country’s parliament by 25 per cent as part of an overhaul of country’s institutions.
फ्रान्सचे राष्ट्राध्यक्ष इमॅन्युएल मॅक्रॉन यांचे सरकार देशाच्या संस्थांच्या कामकाजाच्या दुरुस्तीचा एक भाग म्हणून देशाच्या संसदेला 25 टक्क्यांनी घट देण्याचे विधेयक आणले आहे.

4. Indian Navy (IN) signed a Memorandum of understanding (MoU) with India Meteorological Department (IMD) at naval Base in Kochi, Kerala. The MoU aims to handle the Cyclone Detection radar (CDR) building by IMD to the IN.
केरळच्या कोची येथील नौदल तळावर भारतीय नौदल (आयएन) ने भारतीय हवामान विभाग (आयएमडी) शी सामंजस्य करार केला. आयएमडी ते आयएनसीतर्फे चक्रवात शोध रडार (CDR) इमारत हाताळण्याचे एमओयूचे उद्दीष्ट आहे.

5. The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) approved to provide Rs.10,448 per metric tonne (MT) as an export subsidy to sugar mills for the sugar season 2019-20. The entire estimated expenditure of Rs.6,268 crore will be utilized for the export subsidy.
आर्थिक बाबींच्या मंत्रिमंडळाच्या समितीने (सीसीईए) साखर हंगाम 2019-20 साठी साखर कारखान्यांना निर्यात अनुदान म्हणून 10,448 रुपये प्रति मेट्रिक टन (एमटी) देण्यास मान्यता दिली. निर्यात अनुदानासाठी रु .6,268 कोटींच्या अंदाजित खर्चाचा उपयोग केला जाईल.

6. Centre plans to achieve 100% electrification of railways in the next 10 years. The announcement was made by the Union Minister Piyush Goyal at the CII’s 14th Sustainability Summit held in New Delhi on 28-29 August 2019.
येत्या 10 वर्षात रेल्वेचे 100 टक्के विद्युतीकरण करण्याची केंद्राची योजना आहे. केंद्रीय मंत्री पीयूष गोयल यांनी  28-29 ऑगस्ट  2019 रोजी नवी दिल्ली येथे आयोजित CIIच्या 14 व्या टिकाव समिटमध्ये ही घोषणा केली.

7. Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the nation-wide Fit India Movement on the National Sports day, 29 August. The event was launched at the Indira Gandhi Stadium in New Delhi.
पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांनी 29 ऑगस्ट रोजी राष्ट्रीय क्रीडादिनी देशव्यापी फिट इंडिया चळवळ सुरू केली. नवी दिल्लीतील इंदिरा गांधी स्टेडियमवर या कार्यक्रमाची सुरूवात झाली.

8. The Ministry of Environment released over Rs.47,000 crore for compensatory afforestation in 27 states. The fund also includes other green activities like prevention of forest fire, biodiversity management, and soil conservation.
पर्यावरण मंत्रालयाने 27 राज्यांत नुकसान भरपाईपोटी 77000 कोटी रुपयांची रक्कम जाहीर केली. या फंडामध्ये जंगलातील आगीपासून बचाव, जैवविविधता व्यवस्थापन आणि माती संवर्धन यासारख्या इतर हिरव्या क्रियांचा देखील समावेश आहे.

9. The Government planned to establish an International Standard Zoo and Biopark on the forest land at Gorewada, Nagpur. The main aim is to protect forests.
नागपूरच्या गोरेवाडा येथे वनजमिनीवर आंतरराष्ट्रीय प्रमाणित प्राणीसंग्रहालय आणि बायोपार्क उभारण्याची शासनाने योजना आखली. मुख्य उद्दीष्ट म्हणजे जंगलांचे संरक्षण करणे.

10. The 25th Senior Women’s National Football Championship will be held in Arunachal Pradesh for the first time from September 10 to 24.
25वी  वरिष्ठ महिला राष्ट्रीय फुटबॉल स्पर्धा अरुणाचल प्रदेशमध्ये प्रथमच 10 ते 24 सप्टेंबर दरम्यान आयोजित केली जाईल.
