28 जुलै 2026 रोजी, ‘इन्शुरन्स रेग्युलेटरी अँड डेव्हलपमेंट अथॉरिटी ऑफ इंडिया’ने (IRDAI) पतंजली आयुर्वेद आणि डीएस (DS) ग्रुपद्वारे ‘मॅग्मा जनरल इन्शुरन्स’च्या अधिग्रहणाला मंजुरी दिली. या व्यवहाराचे मूल्य सुमारे 4,500 कोटी रुपये असून, यात विद्यमान भागधारकांकडून इक्विटी हिस्सा (equity stakes) खरेदी करण्याचा समावेश आहे. |
| 2. India has moved up from 82nd to 57th in a global ranking on reducing anti-competitive market distortions. The ranking was released on July 30, 2026 in a report titled India’s Next Growth Frontier: Reducing Anti-Competitive Market Distortions to Build on India’s 2010-2023 Reform Progress. बाजारातील स्पर्धा-विरोधी विकृती कमी करण्याबाबतच्या जागतिक क्रमवारीत भारत 82 व्या स्थानावरून 57 व्या स्थानावर पोहोचला आहे. ‘इंडियाज नेक्स्ट ग्रोथ फ्रंटियर: रिड्यूसिंग अँटी-कॉम्पिटिटिव्ह मार्केट डिस्टॉर्शन्स टू बिल्ड ऑन इंडियाज 2010-2023 रिफॉर्म प्रोग्रेस’ (India’s Next Growth Frontier: Reducing Anti-Competitive Market Distortions to Build on India’s 2010-2023 Reform Progress) या शीर्षकाच्या अहवालात ही क्रमवारी 30 जुलै 2026 रोजी जाहीर करण्यात आली. |
| 3. On July 30, 2026, the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) suspended the nutraceutical licence of Dior Pharmaceuticals. The suspension order was issued after findings of serious breaches and deficient good manufacturing practices at the company’s nutraceutical plant in Punjab. 30 जुलै 2026 रोजी, भारतीय अन्न सुरक्षा आणि मानके प्राधिकरणाने (FSSAI) ‘डिओर फार्मास्युटिकल्स’चा न्यूट्रास्युटिकल परवाना निलंबित केला. पंजाबमधील कंपनीच्या न्यूट्रास्युटिकल प्लांटमध्ये नियमांचे गंभीर उल्लंघन आणि ‘उत्तम उत्पादन पद्धतीं’मधील (Good Manufacturing Practices) त्रुटी आढळून आल्यानंतर हे निलंबनाचे आदेश जारी करण्यात आले. |

In 2025 and 2026, China set up facilities for testing and researching high-altitude drones in Tibet, including a testing base in Ngari and a Plateau Drone R&D Application Center at Xizang University near Mount Everest. | 5. Norms, Guidelines and Procedures for Authorisation for Undertaking Planned Re-entry of Space Objects were released by India on 23 July 2026. The framework came into force on 29-30 July 2026 and is applicable to planned re-entries of space objects into the atmosphere of the earth by Indian and foreign operators. अंतराळ वस्तूंच्या नियोजित पुनर्प्रवेशासाठी (re-entry) परवानगी देण्याबाबतचे निकष, मार्गदर्शक तत्त्वे आणि कार्यपद्धती भारताने 23 जुलै 2026 रोजी जाहीर केली. ही नियमावली 29-30 जुलै 2026 रोजी अंमलात आली आणि ती भारतीय व परदेशी ऑपरेटरद्वारे पृथ्वीच्या वातावरणात केल्या जाणाऱ्या अंतराळ वस्तूंच्या नियोजित पुनर्प्रवेशाला लागू आहे. |
| 6. The Prevention of Insults to National Honour (Amendment) Bill, 2026 was passed by the Rajya Sabha on 29 July 2026. The Bill amends the Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act, 1971 and provides legal protection to the national song, Vande Mataram, in addition to the national anthem, Jana Gana Mana. ‘राष्ट्रीय सन्मानाचा अवमान प्रतिबंध (दुरुस्ती) विधेयक, 2026’ हे 29 जुलै 2026 रोजी राज्यसभेत मंजूर करण्यात आले. हे विधेयक ‘राष्ट्रीय सन्मानाचा अवमान प्रतिबंध कायदा, १९७१’ मध्ये सुधारणा करते आणि ‘जन गण मन’ या राष्ट्रगीतासोबतच ‘वंदे मातरम्’ या राष्ट्रगीतालाही (राष्ट्रीय गाण्यालाही) कायदेशीर संरक्षण प्रदान करते. |
| 7. India wants to connect 100 crore people with 5G technology by 2030. | 8. Rajasthan on 29 July 2026 became the first state in India to execute an exploration licence for rare earth elements. The licence area is for 207.63 sq km in the Navatala-Devigarh (Pachpadra) area of the Balotra district and the Shergarh tehsil of the Jodhpur district. 29 जुलै 2026 रोजी राजस्थान हे ‘दुर्मिळ मृदा मूलद्रव्यां’च्या (rare earth elements) शोध-परवान्याची अंमलबजावणी करणारे भारतातील पहिले राज्य बनले. हा परवाना क्षेत्रफळानुसार 207.63 चौरस किलोमीटर इतका असून, तो बालोत्रा जिल्ह्यातील नवाताला-देवीगड (पचपदरा) आणि जोधपूर जिल्ह्यातील शेरगड तहसील या भागांतर्गत येतो. |
