| 2. General Dhiraj Seth assumed office as 31st Chief of Army Staff on 30 June 2026. He took over from General Upendra Dwivedi, who retired the same day after a 40-year career. His appointment as Chief of the Army Staff is until 31 August 2028. जनरल धीरज सेठ यांनी 30 जून 2026 रोजी 31 वे ‘चीफ ऑफ आर्मी स्टाफ’ (लष्करप्रमुख) म्हणून पदभार स्वीकारला. त्यांनी जनरल उपेंद्र द्विवेदी यांच्याकडून हे पद स्वीकारले; जनरल द्विवेदी हे 40 वर्षांच्या प्रदीर्घ कारकीर्दीनंतर त्याच दिवशी निवृत्त झाले. ‘चीफ ऑफ आर्मी स्टाफ’ म्हणून त्यांची नियुक्ती 31 ऑगस्ट 2028 पर्यंत आहे. |
| 3. The Indian Air Force successfully completed the fifth Warfare & Aerospace Strategy Programme (WASP) with a Capstone Seminar on 29 June 2026 at New Delhi. The seminar was the culmination of a six-month Professional Military Education programme being conducted by the Centre for Aerospace Power and Strategic Studies (CAPSS), New Delhi and the College of Air Warfare (CAW), Hyderabad. भारतीय हवाई दलाने 29 जून 2026 रोजी नवी दिल्ली येथे ‘कॅपस्टोन सेमिनार’सह पाचव्या ‘वॉरफेअर अँड एरोस्पेस स्ट्रॅटेजी प्रोग्राम’ची (WASP) यशस्वी सांगता केली. हा सेमिनार म्हणजे ‘सेंटर फॉर एरोस्पेस पॉवर अँड स्ट्रॅटेजिक स्टडीज’ (CAPSS), नवी दिल्ली आणि ‘कॉलेज ऑफ एअर वॉरफेअर’ (CAW), हैदराबाद यांच्या संयुक्त विद्यमाने राबवण्यात आलेल्या सहा महिन्यांच्या ‘व्यावसायिक लष्करी शिक्षण कार्यक्रमा’चा (Professional Military Education programme) समारोप होता. |

| 5. Union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda launched Ayushman Sarathi PM-JAY Chatbot in New Delhi on 29 June 2026. It is a WhatsApp based chatbot developed by the National Health Authority under Ministry of Health and Family Welfare for access to Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana services. केंद्रीय आरोग्य मंत्री जगत प्रकाश नड्डा यांनी 29 जून 2026 रोजी नवी दिल्ली येथे ‘आयुष्मान सारथी PM-JAY’ चॅटबॉटचे अनावरण केले. ‘आयुष्मान भारत प्रधानमंत्री जन आरोग्य योजना’ सेवांचा लाभ घेण्यासाठी, आरोग्य आणि कुटुंब कल्याण मंत्रालयांतर्गत असलेल्या ‘राष्ट्रीय आरोग्य प्राधिकरणा’ने (National Health Authority) विकसित केलेला हा व्हॉट्सॲप-आधारित चॅटबॉट आहे. |
| 6. On 29 June 2026, the Delhi Cabinet led by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta approved the Delhi Electric Vehicle Policy 2026. | 7. On 29 June 2026, the Union Cabinet approved an additional investment of ₹30,000 crore by the Government of India in the National Investment and Infrastructure Fund (NIIF). The fresh allocation takes the government’s total commitment to NIIF to ₹60,000 crore and supports the creation of NIIF Infrastructure Fund II, with a target corpus of about ₹30,000 crore. 29 जून 2026 रोजी, केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडळाने ‘नॅशनल इन्व्हेस्टमेंट अँड इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर फंड’ (NIIF) मध्ये भारत सरकारतर्फे 30,000 कोटी रुपयांच्या अतिरिक्त गुंतवणुकीस मंजुरी दिली. या नवीन तरतुदीमुळे NIIF मधील सरकारची एकूण गुंतवणूक वचनबद्धता 60,000 कोटी रुपयांपर्यंत पोहोचली आहे आणि यामुळे सुमारे 30,000 कोटी रुपयांचा निधी उभारण्याचे उद्दिष्ट असलेल्या ‘NIIF इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर फंड II’ च्या निर्मितीला चालना मिळाली आहे. |

On 29 June 2026, Union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda launched the SUMAN Roadmap 2030 for Maternal Health at the 16th Conference of the Central Council of Health and Family Welfare in New Delhi. The roadmap gives a strategic framework for maternal and newborn health in India and is in line with the Sustainable Development Goal targets for 2030. 29 जून 2026 रोजी, नवी दिल्ली येथे आयोजित ‘केंद्रीय आरोग्य आणि कुटुंब कल्याण परिषदे’च्या 16 व्या परिषदेत केंद्रीय आरोग्य मंत्री जगत प्रकाश नड्डा यांनी माता आरोग्यासाठी ‘सुमन (SUMAN) रोडमॅप २०३०’चे अनावरण केले. हा रोडमॅप भारतातील माता आणि नवजात बालकांच्या आरोग्यासाठी एक धोरणात्मक आराखडा प्रदान करतो आणि २०३० सालासाठीच्या ‘शाश्वत विकास उद्दिष्टां’शी (SDGs) सुसंगत आहे. |
