2. National Democratic Alliance leader Narendra Modi was sworn in as Prime Minister for the second consecutive term.

3. Ministry of Health and Family Welfare is organizing a two-day orientation workshop for Population Research Centres (PRCs) in New Delhi.
आरोग्य आणि कुटुंब कल्याण मंत्रालय नवी दिल्ली येथे लोकसंख्या संशोधन केंद्रे (पीआरसी) साठी दोन दिवसीय अभिमुख कार्यशाळा आयोजित करीत आहे.

4. US President Donald Trump has announced tariffs on all goods coming from Mexico in a bid to curb illegal immigration. From 10 June a five per cent tariff would be imposed and slowly raised until the Illegal Immigration problem is remedied.
अमेरिकेचे राष्ट्राध्यक्ष डोनाल्ड ट्रम्प यांनी बेकायदेशीर इमिग्रेशन रोखण्यासाठी मेक्सिकोकडून आलेल्या सर्व वस्तूंचा दर जाहीर केला आहे. 10 जूनपासून अवैध इमिग्रेशन समस्येचे निराकरण होईपर्यंत पाच टक्के शुल्क लागू केले जाईल आणि हळू हळू वाढविले जाईल.

5. The RBI has constituted a task force to suggest policy and regulatory interventions required for the development of the secondary market in corporate loans.
कॉर्पोरेट कर्जातील दुय्यम बाजाराच्या विकासासाठी आवश्यक असलेल्या धोरण आणि नियामक हस्तक्षेपांची सुचना देण्यासाठी रिझर्व्ह बॅंकेने टास्क फोर्सची स्थापना केली आहे.

6. The Gujarat government has decided to equip the traffic police with ‘laser guns’ for detection of over-speeding by vehicles. The state police’s traffic branch has purchased 39 such high-tech guns at a cost of Rs.3.9 crore.
वाहनांनी अतिवेगाने तपासणीसाठी गुजरात सरकारने ‘लेझर गन’ सह रहदारी पोलिसांना सुसज्ज करण्याचा निर्णय घेतला आहे. राज्य पोलिसांच्या वाहतूक शाखेने 3.9 कोटी रुपयांच्या किंमतीत 39 उच्च-तंत्रांच्या बंदुकांची खरेदी केली आहे.

8. Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) launched a data platform called Integrated Database on Infrastructure Projects (IDIP) on 29th May.
इंडियन इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ टेक्नोलॉजी मद्रास (आयआयटी मद्रास) ने 29 मे रोजी इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर प्रोजेक्ट्स ऑन इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर प्रोजेक्ट्स (आयडीआयपी) नामक डेटा प्लेटफॉर्म लॉन्च केला आहे.
