1. Effective from January 2025, Sri Lanka has developed a new visa policy allowing people from 39 countries—including India—free visa travel. Made during an occasion in New Delhi, Sri Lankan Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath made this remark meant to improve bilateral ties between Sri Lanka and India.

जानेवारी २०२५ पासून लागू होणाऱ्या श्रीलंकेने भारतासह ३९ देशांतील लोकांना मोफत व्हिसा प्रवासाची परवानगी देणारे नवीन व्हिसा धोरण विकसित केले आहे. नवी दिल्ली येथे एका कार्यक्रमादरम्यान श्रीलंकेच्या परराष्ट्र मंत्री विजिता हेराथ यांनी श्रीलंका आणि भारत यांच्यातील द्विपक्षीय संबंध सुधारण्यासाठी हे विधान केले.

A Public Interest Litigation (PIL) was recently filed in the Supreme Court (SC) following the suicide of a techie in Bengaluru, seeking intervention to review and modify dowry and domestic abuse laws. The appeal alleged that the Dowry Prohibition Act of 1961 and Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code (now Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita) were abused to resolve unconnected conflicts and repress the husband’s relatives.

As a Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales), the State Bank of India (SBI) hires people in all of its Indian stores. This is an office job that involves helping customers and doing things related to sales.

2. To be eligible:

Educational Qualification: Graduation in any field.
Age Limit: 20 to 28 years old (with some exceptions for certain categories).

3. Procedure for Selection
The following steps make up the hiring process:

Preliminary Examination (100 marks)

One-hour online objective test that includes the following sections:
30 questions (30 points) in English
Math Proficiency: 35 questions (35 points)
Ability to Reason: 35 questions (35 points)
100 questions in all, worth one mark each.

Main Examination (200 marks):

This two-hour, forty-minute online objective test consists of the following sections:
50 questions including general and financial awareness (50 marks)
40 questions in general English (40 marks)
50 questions (50 points) for quantitative aptitude
Computer proficiency and reasoning skills: 50 questions (60 marks)
Test of Language Proficiency (LPT):
