UPSC CDS (Combined Defence Services) recruitment is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) to select candidates for admission into the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), Air Force Academy (AFA), and Officers’ Training Academy (OTA). Here is some general information about UPSC CDS recruitment:

1. Eligibility: The eligibility criteria for UPSC CDS recruitment are as follows:

(i) Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens, or subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or Tibetan refugees who came to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or persons of Indian origin who have migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, and Ethiopia or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

(ii) Age Limit:
– For Indian Military Academy (IMA): Candidates must be between 19 to 24 years of age.
– For Indian Naval Academy (INA): Candidates must be between 19 to 24 years of age.
– For Air Force Academy (AFA): Candidates must be between 20 to 24 years of age.
– For Officers’ Training Academy (OTA): Candidates must be between 19 to 25 years of age.

(iii) Educational Qualifications:
– For Indian Military Academy (IMA) and Officers’ Training Academy (OTA): Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institute.
– For Indian Naval Academy (INA): Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a recognized university or institute.
– For Air Force Academy (AFA): Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a bachelor’s degree with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects from a recognized university or institute.

About  NIACL Recruitment
