Except Professional Knowledge (PK) paper, other papers will be of qualifying in nature. Candidates have to score minimum qualifying marks in these papers. The minimum qualifying marks will be decided by the Bank. The questions will be bilingual i.e. in Hindi & English. The candidates will have option to answer the questions in Hindi or English(except for test of English Language).
Syllabus For State Bank Of India (SBI) & Associate Bank Specialist Cadre Officers Exam :
1.English Language: Vocabulary, grammar, synonyms and antonyms, comprehension, sentence formation, error connection, subject verb agreement etc
2.Reasoning : This part checks the candidate on reasoning abilities and mental aptitude. So, it is advised that you should prepare both verbal and non-verbal sections. For verbal tasks, you should prepare analogy, Coding-Decoding, Blood Relations, decision making, Problem on Age Calculation, Arithmetical Reasoning, etc.
3.Quantitative Aptitude: This paper will include questions on problems relating to Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, use of Tables and Graphs, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, Data Sufficiency, Permutations, Combinations and Probability, Data Table, Pie-Charts, Bar Graphs, Line Graphs, Mixed Graphs, Case Study etc.
4.Professional Knowledge: This paper will include questions based on the post they are applied for, Expect questions in graduation level, a good reference of text books in your degree class with some current affairs on the subject will make things easy. The following areas are considered important based on the previous year examinations.
