1. Supreme Court extended the term of Justice V K Jain as Judicial Member of the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC). His term was supposed to expire on May 29, 2019.
सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाने राष्ट्रीय ग्राहक विवाद निवारण आयोग (NCDRC) च्या न्यायिक सदस्या म्हणून न्यायमूर्ती व्ही के जैन यांचे पद वाढविले. 29 मे 2019 रोजी त्यांची मुदत संपली होती.

2. A US hospital revealed the birth of a baby girl named ‘Saybie’ and said she’s believed to be the world’s smallest surviving baby, who weighed 245 grams at birth.
अमेरिकेच्या एका हॉस्पिटलमध्ये ‘सॅबी’ नावाच्या एका लहान मुलीचा जन्म झाला आणि ती जन्माच्या वेळी 245 ग्रॅम वजनाच्या जगातील सर्वात लहान जिवंत बाळ असल्याचे मानली जाते.

3. FICCI’s (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry) economic outlook survey projected India’s median GDP (Gross Domestic Product) 7.1% for FY20 and 7.2% for FY21.
फिक्की (फेडरेशन ऑफ इंडियन चेंबर्स ऑफ कॉमर्स अँड इंडस्ट्री) आर्थिक दृष्टिकोन सर्वेक्षणाने भारताच्या मध्यमवर्गीय जीडीपी (सकल घरेलू उत्पादना) आथिर्क वर्षातील FY20 साठी 7.1% आणि FY21 साठी 7.2% प्रस्तावित केले आहे.

4. Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot announced the banned on the sale of e-cigarettes in Rajasthan. Gehlot issued the order on the occasion of World No Tobacco Day on May 31.
राजस्थानचे मुख्यमंत्री अशोक गेहलोत यांनी राजस्थानमधील ई-सिगारेटच्या विक्रीवर बंदी घालण्याची घोषणा केली. गहलोत यांनी 31 मे रोजी जागतिक तंबाखूचा दिवशी हा आदेश जारी केला.

5. Reserve Bank of India permitted Banks to use Aadhaar only for DBT accounts for KYC requirements.

9. World Milk Day is a day established by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations to recognize the importance of milk as a global food. It has been observed on June 1 each year since 2001.
जागतिक दूध दिवस म्हणजे जागतिक अन्न म्हणून दुधाचे महत्त्व ओळखण्यासाठी संयुक्त राष्ट्राच्या अन्न व कृषी संघटनेने (एफएओ) एक दिवस स्थापन केला आहे. 2001 पासून प्रत्येक वर्षी 1 जून रोजी ते पाळण्यात आले आहे.
