1.The State Bank of India raised its lending rates by 20 basis points to 8(point)15 percent, with immediate effect, setting the tone for the industry to follow suit.
स्टेट बॅंक ऑफ इंडियाने आपले कर्ज दर 20 टक्क्यांनी वाढवून 8.15 टक्के केले आहे.

2. Women and Child Development Ministry approved projects worth over Rs 2,900 crore under the Nirbhaya fund for eight major cities to make them safer for women.
महिला आणि बालविकास मंत्रालयाने आठ प्रमुख शहरांमध्ये स्त्रियांना सुरक्षित ठेवण्यासाठी निर्भया मोहिमेअंतर्गत 2,900 कोटी रुपयांचे प्रकल्प मंजूर केले आहेत.

3. The International Olympic Committee (IOC) restored Russia’s Olympic membership with immediate effect following its suspension from the Winter Olympics at Pyeongchang in South Korea.
आंतरराष्ट्रीय ऑलिम्पिक समिती (आयओसी) ने दक्षिण कोरियातील पेयेंगचांग येथे हिवाळी ऑलिम्पिकमधून निलंबित केल्यामुळे रशियाची ओलम्पिक सदस्यत्वाची त्वरित अंमलबजावणी केली.

4. India’s star wrestler Vinesh Phogat has settled for Silver Medal in the 50kg Freestyle competition at the Asian Wrestling Championship in Kyrgyzstan.
किर्गिस्तानच्या आशियाई कुस्ती स्पर्धेत 50 किलो फ्रीस्टाइल स्पर्धेत भारताच्या स्टार कुस्तीपटू विनेश फोगटने रौप्यपदक पटकावले.

5. French President Emmanuel Macron will arrive in India on March 9 on a four-day maiden visit.
फ्रेंच राष्ट्राध्यक्ष इमॅन्युएल मॅक्रोन चार दिवसांच्या  9 मार्च रोजी भारत दौऱ्यावर येणार आहेत.
