| 2. The Economic Capital Framework (ECF) of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has been revised lately. This change seeks to provide the central bank more freedom in controlling extra transfers to the government. This strategy guarantees even in erratic economic times financial stability. The new framework permits expansion from the previous 5.5-6.5 per cent range and a contingency risk buffer (CRB) range of 4.5-7.5 percent.

| 3. Step in interregional cooperation is the ASEAN-GCC summit scheduled for May 27, 2025 in Kuala Lumpur. Along with Chinese Premier Li Qiang, this summit included the ten-member Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and the six-nation Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). The meeting seeks to improve economic resilience in front of growing U.S. tariffs and global uncertainty.

One of the earliest indigenuously created high-resolution weather forecast systems available worldwide is this one. It seeks to improve the accuracy of Indian weather forecasts thereby supporting the country’s economic development and resistance against climate change.

| 6. Russia’s aspirations to participate in the worldwide fifth-generation fighter market are embodied in the Sukhoi Su-57E. There are still difficulties even with initiatives to advertise this aircraft. These challenges were highlighted during the recently Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA 2025) in Malaysia. Only a scale model was on show, hence the promised presentation of the Sukhoi Su-57E did not turn out. This lack begs important issues concerning the aircraft’s export readiness.

| 7. Emerging as student organization in India during the 1970s, the Radical Students Union (RSU) became especially relevant in light of the sociopolitical unrest following George Reddy’s murder. His murder in 1972 triggered demonstrations and student movements that resulted in the RSU’s founding in 1975. This company grew to be a major player in forming Maoist India’s intellectual terrain. Though the RSU was outlawed in 1992, modern Maoist groups still find inspiration from its past.
