2. China will send out the world’s first mining robot into space by November this year.

3. Fast Patrol Vessel (FPV) ICGS ‘Kanaklata Barua’ of the Indian Coast Guard was commissioned at the Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers (GRSE) Ltd in Kolkata.

4. The National Institute of Nutrition (NIN), which is located in Hyderabad, has revised the ideal weight for both men and women in the country by adding 5-5 kg.

5. Two more States, Tamil Nadu and Arunachal Pradesh have been integrated with the existing national portability cluster of 26 States and UTs under One Nation One Ration Card.

6. According to the latest data released by the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), Mumbai recorded 6,519 cases, after national capital Delhi at 12,902 cases during the year 2019.

9. The Union Minister of Science & Technology, Earth Sciences and Health & Family Welfare, Dr Harsh Vardhan launched CSIR Technologies for rural development on the occasion of CSIR-NISTADS 40th Foundation Day.
