| 1. In recent events in Uttar Pradesh (UP), the state government has passed a draft of the Uttar Pradesh Nodal Investment Region for Manufacturing (Construction) Area Bill (NIRMAN-2024). This project, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, is part of a larger goal to grow the state’s GDP to one trillion dollars.

| 4. According to Article 280 of the Indian Constitution, the 16th Finance Commission (FC) of India has begun its operations. Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister of Electronics and Information Technology, talked during the inaugural session of the Global IndiaAI Summit 2024 in New Delhi about the importance of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in global problem solving. | 6. North Korea stated that a test of its latest tactical ballistic missile, the Hwasongpho-11 Da-4.5, which is designed to carry a large 4.5-ton warhead, went smoothly. According to the country’s official news channels, the rocket could hit its target with pinpoint accuracy from up to 500 kilometres away and as near as 90 km.
